    I thought those were nubs to mount the mirrors until I noticed there were none on the sprues! 😆

    I am guessing they have not fixed the undersized wheels however, that is the one part of this kit that is disappointing since they are such a large part of the look!

    I can verify that the Fujimi Land Cruiser 80 is an awful kit that has a shallow interior and is definitely closer to 1/22 scale. The E30 BMW kits are also pretty poor.

    Honestly that plastic was brittle, I had one that I sold (and the Corvette) that also had fractured pieces and some cracks in the body (Corvette was worse).

    What would be the issue with saying what current, not “new”, tooling they have?

    Just give me more AMT/Ertl-era kits, they are some of the best domestic kits in terms of detail and fitment.

    I think part of the problem is no sidewall detailing that provides more definition, it is blank which makes it look taller.

    In the other thread about the kit it is mentioned that they didn’t have enough extra funding to add anything other than the front end parts right now.

    Honestly they just need to release the Splash kit and throw in the 1995 grille plus a new decal sheet and I would be happy!
