  4. I've completed 2, but one a diecast mod, in the past year and also the same in the past 12 years! the Mouse Rod .. and this one done for my 4 year old grandson to mimic his Dad's car ..
  5. This was a quick adjustment to a Maisto diecast to replicate my son's car. The end result is for an Xmass gift for my 4 year old grandson as "Daddy's Car". His car guy test will be if he recognizes it as such! This is a year or 2 off the 1:1 but is close enough for this as there are none made of the exact year. The big thing was the proper rear wing which matched perfectly. I had to paint the side window trim black, the wheels silver, make plaid inserts for the seats and do the correct NJ license plates. the 1:1 ... and ...
  6. Beautiful job! Love that first image..
  7. Great sources all to get your supplies up! Do consider the gloss on the paper. This keeps your liquids from being absorbed by the paper.
  8. The stance on that is perfect! As "dirty" as it is the build looks really good.
  9. Eye candy is never just "taking up space"!
  10. The engine fits perfectly with the curved body cutouts ... headers and intake all curved the same.

Very nice build of this! I have one being relieved of pieces going to my TR4A ..
  12. This ball is starting to sail over the fence!
  13. I second Niko. This is a page showing many of their pieces to drool over.
  14. Absolutely nothing for me ... otherwise it would be a job.
  15. This thread is INCREDIBLE!
  16. I have glass polishing sticks I've used before but the polishing needs to be done on the inside where the defroster elements are. Toothpaste sounds good for this .. think I'll be trying it. Thanks for the suggestion.
  17. I finished my first build in 15 years!!!!!!!!!!! ... my Mouse Rod ..
  18. This has been sitting as I tried to find the rear window. I even put a post up looking for one, but to no avail ... it isn't a common kit I know. So yesterday the cat was down in the basement shop and I heard him run back upstairs and was running around like he had a toy .. seemed odd. When I came up there was the Subaru rear window in the middle of the floor! That cat has good eyes! It sure is the worst for wear .. has something stuck to the back and a crack in the middle.I must have stepped on it at some point. It will need some sanding to clean up the gunk and scratches. I'm going to run some Future into the crack and call it a 1:1 repair waiting to go to the glass shop. Oh well ...
  19. I congratulate the reporter on a good, accurate piece for once!
  20. A wonderful car to see being built!
  21. That's some exceptional weathering . just enough in just the right places.
