  1. oh Man ... I WANT to see one of these Low n Slow!!!!!
  2. Great display! and that must be one heck of a lead sinker in the trunk!
  3. A very interesting build. And, just to reinforce Ben's mention, I've used Archer's rivets too ... and just popped my styrene rivets in the trash.
  4. Welcome over here, Chris. I do the Automotive Forum also. There's the same kind helpful people over here. The fine lines you added really made that paint pop! Very cool paint job.
  5. I love this idea of customizing a brick.
  6. Looking interesting ..
  7. They were great cars ... I had five of them! A 77 924 with a Callaway turbo, a '81 924 Turbo, one the first year of the 944, a '87 .. the first year of the interior fix and a '91 944S ,, the last year it was made. All of them were driven all year round in Western Massachusetts. Finally I was able to get winter tires when I had the '84 and could get up the mountain road I lived on . eheh. I do remember a 928 that was always at my mechanic's and had dash troubles all the time. I wouldn't want to pay the mechanic bills that one had.
  8. That is a fine looking one. I love how you did the interior!
  9. I'm partial to this car as one of Porsche's finest and unappreciated. Looking forward to your take on it.
  10. After looking more at the photos Casey supplied I decided the headlight bucket HAD to be done. I looked far and wide but could not locate a cone to use anywhere. The tip of my 3/8" twist drill looked close to the right slope and the diameter was right, so last years ice scraper donated it's blade and received a few conical dents. The area was cut out and ground down to fit the headlight opening. It looks like some more grinding to thin it so it recesses more into the bucket and the body is ready for paint!
  11. Very nice!
  12. You sure are supplying us with the sweetest form of eye candy, Ken! I'm just staggered with the speed you build these. And that's a cool looking trailer. I'd have to guess it's pretty much the same as others inside ... I've never seen much difference among similar sized trailers.
  13. Bah, Harry .. you already read it!!!! .. at least you saw the pictures ...
  14. What we REALLY need is a 1/24-25 split window!
  15. Wow .. I got mine yesterday .. it's usually 2 weeks after the first sightings! Another interesting issue ..
  16. This looks REALLY good! I like that blue over the black base.

    49 ford

Sorry, but I built one some time ago but don't have any photos. It was the early '60's when it was first released. It was chopped, channeled and sectioned with opened doors and trunk. The front had canted dual headlights and the rear fenders rounded, ending in a small scoop opening on top of the fender. I sure wish I had kept some of these oldies.
  19. Yeah, my first car was a '51 Plymouth that never started in the winter .. I sure how it went to the crusher!
  20. Those are way too beautiful paint jobs to call either Beast ... but, that wide open mouth on the old Ford ....
  21. Love that engine!!!
  22. Those skirts look great. How did you form the bubble in them? Looks like maybe .02" sheet and just bent and glued?
