  1. I love the "missing" headlight rings. Well done ..
  2. The '34 looks grand, but the trailer is magnificent! The weathering is very realistic .. differing amounts on every detail. It all comes together looking real to life!
  3. The best thing about the '60 is it still had the '59 dash ... my favorite dashboard ever!
  4. You have to use the Full Editor and the title comes up so you can edit it. Edit: well, it USED to work that way. Now doesn't seem to.
  5. Just use Google to translate it Copy and paste the URL into Translate Web Page and pick Japanese to English. Wish I could give you a one click way but the translated page link doesn't work directly.
  6. Absolutely beautiful! That's some fantastic work.
  7. hehehe .. you got THAT right, Charlie, but it's normal for all of us. The color just popped this past weekend after looking drab .. this coming weekend would be perfect for some leaf peeping. Just in case, don't take route 2 as there's a stretch in Florida still washed out from the hurricane. That's gonna hurt the tourist traps waiting for the peepers. Of course, you're always welcome to make a pit stop off route 8 in Lanesboro if you find yourself passing.
  8. Thanks for all the photos ... that was a spectacular show!
  9. I love it! definitely an eye catcher.
  10. Now I'm REALLY in trouble .. everyone thinks I'm working on it. Unfortunately ... for the van ... we've had some unseasonably warm temps in New England .. and even some sun!
  11. 23 gage .. thanks, Marcos. Will have to have my RN wife do some "shopping" for me.
  12. I get the feeling the power in that blown hemi shifted the cab back a bit..
  13. That is K&S 3/32 Diamond mesh Stock No. 02711. It's brass colored Photo Etch. I expect this should still be available.
  14. You might look into Woodland Scenics Water Effects for the choppy sea. There are also many other products used in model railroads for various water effects.
  15. My head is still spinning from Chuck's "Football Four" a couple pages ago! My normally aspirated 944 engine is my favorite I've done. Maybe just because it's different.
  16. 4 banger. ..... Over sized blown engines are SO 00's .. And, what did you use to make the door hinges?
  17. That is one amazing tube garden you grew there!!
  18. Sorry about that. The photo is reduced to a blur when viewed and I can't delete this thread.
  19. Was on a fall ride and snapped this as we were moving. Gonna have to go back for a closer look. I just want to see how this long slot of a photo displays here.
  20. I'm really liking this one. The door hinges are interesting ... could you post some pics of the inside to see how they are done?
  21. You have to really look at actual sizes and figure the scale yourself for your particular application. Scale really means nothing if it is listed. I have used the welds on a '60 dragster and they worked well. I applied them over the door lines to make them look welded shut. Here's a shot to show how they look under one coat of paint. Another they show fairly well ...
  22. One of my all time favorite cars. I came this close to buying one to be shipped back to the States when in the Army in Germany. Very nice build .. the pin stripes look great! I do have one waiting for me to start.
  23. Definably not from here .. the responder stayed totally on topic!
  24. One of those outrageous Japanese pipes that stick up the center....
  25. This has a good sounding angle to it. My family is New England to the core but my Grandfather spent time in the Calvary in Texas chasing Pancho Villa ... but not in a rat rod!
