  1. This Cruz guy, he can do it all, from hot rods to exotics. Looks beautiful as always, my club brother! Although, when I saw your title of the thread (the extra 1), I thought you made an exotic Ranchero!
  2. Bob, I'm not sure about actual material, but Scale Motorsports has interior decals with a Mexican blanket pattern.
  3. Welcome to the forum, Jackie. I would love it if my wife would also build models, then we could fill the house!
  4. Always good to see a young modeler's work! We need you to keep this hobby alive and well down the road . The funny car body looks good so far, and will look even better in the 'Under Glass' section. Welcome to the forum!
  5. Not sure about that, Brian. It is a well detailed kit with the motor. I got it a while back from my favorite supplier at a discount $12.00!
  6. Super clean, and a beautiful little bug! You gotta love 'em Looks great, Dave.
  7. A Revell kit of an '85 Ferrari GTO built out of the box, with only paint detailing. Finish is Dupli-Color Ice Blue, and I used Model Master Pontiac Engine Blue in the interior. I also went with slightly larger tires in the rear.
  8. That is beautiful, Harry. From now on when I hear the term 'classic car', I'll think of this Alfa and how you built it. Fantastic job in every respect!
  9. Welcome, Adam. Very nice builds of yours, I like that Road Runner!
  10. Wow, very nice and clean. I like that color, too. It looks like the orchid color '65 Chevy's had. Beautiful build, and perfect stance!
  11. Replicas & Miniatures Co. of Md. has 3 and 4 bar types
  12. Dan, I also use Dupli-Color primer, white sandable under Tamiya paints. I think the white helps colors pop. I used it under the Tamiya candy lime on the VW Bug gasser in my avatar. I also just used Dupli-Color clear over metallic Tamiya paint, and it came out fine. It will be polished when dry. I also have tried the Testors Lacquer system as Steve said, with great results, but those paints seem hard to find locally. The drying time with these kinds of paints, especially with a dehydrator, has me sold!
  13. Looking good, Cruz! I'll have to get some embossing powder and try that method. Hmmm..... a good seminar at a club meeting perhaps?! Hey, what color and brand of paint are you using? That's an eye popping color!
  14. Very cool, Lyle! Awesome detail as usual. It is a pleasure working with good resin, isn't it? I'll have to try that piping technique sometime.
  15. Sorry to hear about your job, Steve. Hang in there! That roadster is way cool, though.
  16. Incredible and beautiful build!
  17. Looks pretty cool, Brian. That's a nice clean build. I like that shade o' green!
  18. You are correct, sir!............ see ya at the Sept. CPMCC meeting.
  19. Very nice Irv, but I don't see any Arter rake! Are you also stuck on this slot car thing now? My son and I got into the 1/32 scale road racing, too. At the track we race, they do some drag racing, and I've seen some pretty nasty crashes. That Camaro looks too nice! Try to make it to the next CPMCC meeting........we haven't seen you in a while.
  20. I'll have to keep an eye on this one Mark, as I just got this kit. I like the shade of blue it's molded in!
  21. My only Impala so far, built back when the kit first came out, to resemble my 1/1 first car. My first car, a '65 327/300 Impala. I also have this '65 that I bid on and won at our annual club auction, donated and built by Terry Adams.
  22. Fantastic looking, Cruz! I'd have to say this Impala and the '59 'Vette you did in the same color scheme are two of my favorites. That interior is top notch, and the flocking is expertly done .
  23. I think that should be the official name of the meeting. Wait....I helped cook the meat!
  24. That Nomad looks great, Steve! It should be killer when it's done. As for the '27 roadster, you are going to put a skull shift knob on the lever of course?
  25. Dave, as a VW Bug fan, I think it's looking pretty good. I'll have to get that Tamiya kit sometime, it's a good one. I like your avatar. We just got a male Pug pup last month, 'Chumley'!
