  1. I'd agree- it looks pretty good in blue, once you get used to it a little.
  2. Love these- wish they sold the 1:1 in the US.
  3. I do have a few ideas, including something with that horrendous Lindberg '48 Lincoln...
  4. There's no end, so feel free to jump in any time.
  5. Check the clearance shelves in the aisles- they aren't on the main shelves anymore at the Meijer stores I go to.
  6. One more off the old grail list...
  7. The PL GT engine looks okay considering it's only fully visible from the top an bottom. In 1:1, the SVT Lightning and GT used the same engine.
  8. The idea of a stanced BMW is just so sick and twisted for all the right reasons. Personally, I'd have used some lower profile rubber, but I still like it.
  9. Lots of nice stuff here! Loving it. These are the ones I got done- http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=68015
  10. If I do finish one more, I'll add it later, but that's looking doubtful now. I'm fairly certain this will be all for the year.
  11. ID this. And don't turn to me for the correct answer, I have no idea. Also? Is it real or a model? Again, I have no idea, but I'm pretty sure it's either one or the other.
  12. Not a bad apple in the bunch, but I've got to say I'm very partial to that '67 Fury at the very top.
  13. Finished just now after about two weekends worth of spare time. Well, the equivalent of two weekends of spare time... spread out over half a year! Might be the last one for this year off my workbench. The idea is an 'in-progress' driver- one day the car will wear a shiny coat of Sublime Green to match the wheels and interior, but in the meantime it'll just rock the primer. Over the last few months as the car was shuffled on and off the workbench, a few scrapes and blemishes appeared in the finish. Let's just call that road rash. The basic kit is mostly box stock, lowered using the lowered suspension pieces in the kit combined with some selective trimming and grinding where needed to get it even lower, but powered by a Kitchen Table Resins 226 Ford Flathead six with a few speed parts.
  14. I'd say you went with quality over quantity this year. I like it.
  15. Not a big fan of Christmas-themed stuff, but even this Scrooge is digging it.
  16. I actually built this about four years ago, but I just found some decent photos of it in my Fotki's 'runoff' folder (where all the stuff I'm too lazy to sort after uploading ends up). It's the Prestige Series kit, with the wheels and tires from a Revell '91 Firebird and some of the AMT parts pack pieces on the engine.
  17. I hope that leftover house paint wasn't latex- it wouldn't last five minutes on a vehicle.
  18. That's actually the first Hubley '32 Chevy kit I've seen built up. Looks like you modified it just a little. I like it. The '48 Coupe is finally done- I'm just waiting for daybreak so I can shoot a couple of photos.
  19. Two '57's... and neither one a Chevy.
