  1. Yeah, what happened? Did somebody at Revell get high and lose the tooling?
  2. I really dig that custom grille and bubbletop, too!
  3. So... almost another year then?
  4. Another unmistakable 'Lombardo Beauty'!
  5. There are a few other Slant sixes out there in plastic and resin, but I think it would be a good product to have in your line. The modeling hobby needs more inline sixes of all kinds!
  6. Looks like the Skyliner's hood was repurposed as the roof skin, too. Very cool.
  7. Wow. Why do the rest of us even bother?
  8. Did anyone ever pick up that product line after he got out of the business? I'd love to have some of those Mopar bits, since the '77 Monaco kit is back out!
  9. Cool! That second image is kind of the look I'm after.
  10. If only all Chevrolets met with such an unfortunate end. Yeah, you heard me! I said it! Ya want some, let's go!!!!
  11. My battery posts have no corrosion. I TAKE CARE of my vehicles!

    69 Charger 500

I've built a few of these myself, and I've never been able to wring such a nice replica out of one. Nice job, Lee! I really dig the KH wheels.
  13. The only reason I don't buy more stuff from Norm? My skills won't do his product justice!
  14. I'd like to see the field more evenly split, as well. Yes, the cars aren't real "Chevrolets", "Fords", etc., but if there were a more equal number of each 'make', I'd really be interested to see if Chevrolet was so dominant in the series.
  15. Just picked up two of this kit today, so I have to say very timely! Very cool build.
  16. Very cool update, kind of has a Euro flavor to it, too.
  17. John, you owe me a new keyboard... I just ruined mine drooling all over it!!!!
  18. Wait until you see my Bugatt-Smart!
  19. A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!!!
  20. How's this for outrageous... an Aston Martin that's nothing more than a badge-engineered Scion, and looks like a tranvestite Smart!
  21. Thanks! Good to know, as I plan on weathering the old Monogram kit. How weird would a rusted out 35B look?
  22. Not as exciting as a 'halftime' figure 8 demoliton derby!
  23. Absolutely nada. But I just like to point stuff like that out to the guys who want to 'Keep NASCAR American' and boot Toyota, without even realizing the Toyota (production model) is the only American built car in the field. As for the stock cars themselves? They're all American built, and as I said earlier, if other foreign automakers want in to NASCAR I'm all for it! It'll create jobs here, and it might add a little (but not much) variety to the NASCAR field. NASCAR stokers are ALL American cars... even the Toyotas! The modern stock cars, be it a Ford,Dodge, Chevy, or Toyota, are all built by guys named Bubba and Jake,- right here in the good old USA. To me at least, the origin of the company the car is supposed to represent is pretty much irrelevant. I just think some people read too much into the 'brand' thing.
  24. Can't find the info online, or in any reference books, need to know if the body is aluminum or not. I'm assuming it is, but I've been wrong before.
  25. Yeah, that sucks. Lindberg can never catch a break! Maybe a resin caster will do an '11 transkit for the Lindberg kit, but I'm not gonna hold my breath!
