  1. I'm with you. I have 15 bodies painted, some even the interiors painted, some polished, then back in the box, sometimes for many years like yours. Painting is my favorite part of our hobby, both airbrushing and rattle cans.
  2. Outstanding work, really well done.
  3. As a Corvette lover, I find your build very well done. Looks very good in green. I do the same thing with painting my kits.
  4. I'm diggin' that Aston. Very cool, I really like that color.
  5. Outstanding build. Beautiful color, exceptional interior, even more exceptional engine. I like your "Hockey stick" treatment, very original.
  6. That's a beautiful build in every way.
  7. Very cool. I really like the color, smooth, shiny and great metallic effect. The rake is very bad*ss.
  8. Very nice build. Great color and turned out very well.
  9. Awesome work. Really like your paint/decal work.
  10. Excellent build. Very well done with subtle weathering. I really like your dioramas and photography.
  11. Only one word I can think of: WOW!
  12. I'd love to have those old Roth colors again, not to mention the AMT lacquers. I actually remember the ad graphic Robert posted.
  13. Outstanding Gerry, truly excellent. All the details you put in are commendable.
  14. Very well done 32. Details all around are excellent, great color choice, wheels and tires give it a great rake and don't mess with me attitude. 👍
  15. Very well done build. Silver with red interior was a good choice, I really like it.
  16. Zora was a truly fascinating guy. I'd read some references over the years about this car, but your build and the book photos you posted are the first I've seen of it. Just goes to show the Corvette's history is very rich and I and new information comes to light regularly.
  17. Very nice build of a classic automobile. Looks great in red with a modern engine.
  18. Outstanding build, very historical as mentioned by others. I always enjoy knowing more about historical Corvettes and development mules. The string you refer to may very well have something to do with Zora's interest in aerodynamics. I'm certainly no expert on the subject, however, I found this information: "In aeronautics, tufts are pieces of yarn or string, typically around 15 cm long, attached to an aircraft surface in a grid pattern and imaged during flight. Their motion can be observed and recorded to locate air flow features such as boundary layer separation and reattachment. Tufting is, therefore, a technique for flow visualization." No reason it can't be applied to automotive development.
  19. Great color combo., great stance, great details all over. Two thumbs up 👍👍
  20. Very well done. A classic AMT kit and you definitely did it justice.
  21. Outstanding. Knocked that one outta the park. Real beauty.
  22. Awesome work, very nicely done details.
