  1. Another great build. The way you blend colors is unique and impressive. I like that hood scoop too.
  2. I missed this for some reason. Very nice build, great color, the Mustang wheels look very good on this big Ford.
  3. Very well done. A Mustang in red always looks good.
  4. Great looking Goat, very cool color.
  5. Beautiful lead sled, great color, nicely detailed.
  6. Sweet ride. Nothing like a low custom with wide whites.
  7. Thank you Carl.
  8. Excellent work, very nice color choice, great details.
  9. Very well done. Ya done good saving that kit. I really like the color, it reminds me of the old AMT lacquers that were so popular a long time ago.
  10. Very nice. I like the two tone and the overall look.
  11. Stuart and Mario, thank you kindly.

  15. Mine as well, DJ. I've built 4 others in various colors.
  16. DJ, Eric, Larry, john, Bob, Tom, Anthony, David, and Chris, thank you for the nice compliments.
  17. Thanks Bruce. I'm not sure what type of enamel the original MCW company used back in 1998, but all I did was polish it with Novus #2.
  18. Bruce, James, Michelle, and DanL thank you for the compliments.
  19. According to Scalemates, this kit was first released in 1998. I thought it was a little earlier than that but they are the recognized authority. In any event, that would be when I first built this kit. It was airbrushed with MCW Enamel Panther Pink/Moulin Rouge, with no clearcoat. This was the original MCW and I believe a different enamel than is currently being sold. It airbrushed very nicely at the time over light grey primer. The build went fine with no issues, except when it was completed, I misplaced the instructions and decal sheet. So, I packed it away and forgot about it. I did build other versions later on, but those were Pro Shop kits. When I moved 10 years ago and downsized to a smaller home, the finished kit, thanks to the moving company, was heavily damaged, along with numerous others. Recently, while looking for something else, I came across the original decals and instruction sheet. I proceeded to rebuild the kit, using its original parts and a few new ones from a recently purchased issue of the kit. Since I had the original 27 year old decals, and new backups, I thought I’d give the originals a try. Surprisingly, the original decals went on, although they didn’t want to cooperate, and were actually very difficult. Nonetheless, after all those years it’s finally complete. I realize now that I could have done some details a bit better, but it’s really not bad for its age. Thanks for looking.

    64 Caddy

I'm diggin' this Caddy. Low and mean looking. I agree, the interior is glowing against the satin black.
  21. What a beauty. I had no idea a car like this existed. Your build is flawless and quite striking.
  22. Very nice, I like the color a lot.
  23. Great build, really nice color, and that stance is all business. Very cool.
