I realized I needed a couple more pieces and edited the title and first post. See below. Thanks. Can someone please print me a set of decals to match the ones on the tires in the pics below. I'd be happy to pay for the decal paper, ink and shipping or trade something for it if I have it in the stash. Also need a sunroof glass if anyone has one they don't need.

Thanks. Maybe I can work some magic on them and make it work. I'll send you a pm.

I'm wanting a specific grill and brush guard. I included a pic of one that is similar to what I am looking for. The one in the pic sits on top of the bumper, but the one I want is a full guard that mounts in front of the bumper and hangs a little below the bumper. And it has the bent tubes like this one has on the inside of the head light area.

If you can't trade for them, Sourkrauts has them. I found these on the front page, but I know they have more and they have rubber tires too. 2 HOLE WHEELS WITH HIGHWAY TREAD TIRES (TANDEM SET), 2HHTS — Sour Krauts Model Trucks https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/613a4372bbfed37548993107/53dd0e6a-6b46-47a9-a3a8-354405916617/2HHTS+2.JPG?format=1000w

Looks good to me.

I'm sorry they did not have what you needed but it was worth a shot. My other supply for truck parts is no longer around due to a death. I'll have to find that ST Supply. Sounds like it might come in handy at some point. I hope they have what you need.

Welcome, anytime.

Very Detailed. You can watch a video for all of their kits at this link. They open the box and show you what is in it. What's In The Box Videos – Salvinos JR Models Glad you liked the cut a way ideas.

I got an idea or two. You could build a crashed version to show off some inside detail for one. Every seen one of those display engines where it's cut in half so you can see the 4 pistons and rods and crank on one side, but the other side looks stock? You could cut one in half and show off the insides like that. Somewhere in my stash is a ship that has all of the side panels that can be removed to show the inner decks and how it works, same as cutting the body in half to make a two sided show car. Just and Idea I had that I thought I'd throw out there.

You would be better off buying these cars off of Ebay for 12 to 20 bucks. These are the General Lee kits. I don't recall if they had the General decals in them or not, but you can buy them as well. And you can still find the police cars on Ebay too. You can also use the T.J. Hooker or Batman Goon cars and just get the Hazard Police car decals to put on them. A Team military police car too, but that's probably going to be pricy if you find it.

You might try sourkrautsmodeltrucks.net They stock a lot of wheel and tire combos.

More than welcome. Can't wait to see the finished model.

Should be a factory 4 link under there.

You are more than welcome. If you need anything Petty, I have a lot of pics of that stuff. Not many have dirt track pics of his cars. And I had to throw mine in there just for the heck of it. lol

Do you mean the ones like the Jeeps and semi-trucks use? If so, I know where you can buy those. www.sourkrautsmodeltrucks.net

Not bad. Couple little things, you have the dist. in the radiator hose and vise versa. On the Hemi and big blocks, it sits at an angle. And Petty does osha blue for suspension and engine pieces for some reason.
-
By 75 those NASCAR type cars were running 358 small blocks. Really the big block was pretty much gone by 72. And most were running slotted wheels by 75 too. And that rear is supposed to sit high until you get the car up to speed and the aero would make it squat back down to normal. Can't believe they left the kicker bars out of the kit. That front cage around the engine is not correct either, but they put that in all the kits.

I'm with you on the paint and body work. Not my favorite part of any build. And there's nothing wrong with primer.

Looking good. I see it has the Daytona window in it too. Don't see that too often. As for mine, I hope to do some work on it late summer. I have 6 acres, and the shop building is close to completion, and I want to start working on a home there as well. I've been collecting parts for the car and hope I can work on it this summer after some other things fall into place. I can't wait to try it out.
