  1. I heard Coriths have excellent leather. lol
  2. I think you need to get together with Dr. Krieger and build a new Dodge Challenger Spy Car. lol
  3. Great looking car. Did Krieger get out of his lab and help with the build a bit? lol
  4. I wished someone had taken over both stores. Going miss these for sure.
  5. Thanks. I'll take a look see.
  6. Thanks for that info. I guess it had been a while since I was on the sites. I bought several low profile aero light bars for some projects I was doing, and it took me a while to build them all. Now I'm starting on a new project and need one of those oval jet sonic type light bars. Guess I can find a cheap goon car or TJ Hooker car off of Ebay and rob the light bar from it. If you run across any good stores like these two sites, I mentioned, I hope you will pass them on. We could use a couple good stores to replace those that we lost. Hate that we lost them.
  7. Thanks. Hated to see them go. They both had some great products. Wished someone would have picked up where they left off.
  8. I went looking for some parts today. What happened to Police Model Cars .com and Custom Squads? Did someone buy them out or are they just gone to the wind? Any suggestions for good lightbars and aftermarket police and rescue stuff?
  9. WOW. The mod top looks great. Is that a decal or what? And the correct title is ... You can never have too many Mopar's or too many Hemi's. lol Mopar or No Car. Also there's nothing like going a buck 20 sideways with the LF 6 to 8 inches off the ground too. All Mopar small block power.
  10. You can see it in your pics. Short Track cars and some Road Course cars always have more clearance between the tires and fenders to prevent tire rubs during contact. That gap is really closed up on Super Speedway cars. The 15 has some really wide-open gaps compared to the 9 and 21. The rear ride height is set pretty low on the 21 as well. They did that a lot to get the spoiler out of the airstream on Super Speedway cars too. Hope that helps out some.
  11. Brutalform in your 4th pic look under that car. It's a ladder bar car so you don't need the leaf springs, and you can put the frame rails back in yours too. And that would be a Dana 60 car. The 8 3/4 would not hold up to that weight and torque when using ladder bars.
  12. Looks good. I like the black paint job and the JPS idea. Always loved that JPS car anyways. I have one in the stash to build one day.
  13. The Duster chassis won't work though. The F body has transverse mounted torsion bars mounted on the K frame. The Duster has longitudinal torsion bars mounted on the Transmission crossmember that runs up to the lower control arms. The A body Duster has the wrong front suspension for an F body Volare'. And the fire wall for the Duster has the old points type voltage regulator on it and it has the ecu box that would be on the right fender of the Volare'. And there were no 340 Volare' cars. No 340's after 73. The Volare' had three engine options. 225 super six or the 318 or 360. Some have put 440s in real Volare's but they don't handle at all and they won't hook up cause the F body is so front heavy to begin with. But that's the way it goes.

  15. Sox and Martin ?? LOL !!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. How about this 30 cylinder Hemi tank engine that did go into production during WWII by Mopar. 5 cranks, and 5 magnetos, and 5 carbs.
  17. If you can't find one on here, you can check https://www.sourkrautsmodeltrucks.net/ . I think I recall seeing one on their site before.
  18. Love that pic. You even have the figure with the cigar. That is so cool. Looking good I might add.
  19. Looks good so far. One thing though, not sure how realistic you want it to be, but you can't use slapper bars on a real Mopar. They don't work since the springs are made to spread apart as it launches. Kinda of like a leapfrog where both front and rear jump up together when it launches. It's a common mistake a lot of people do when building Mopar's. Hope that helps.
  20. That will be a cool pic to pull off.
  21. Looking good so far. Can't wait to see it finished.
  22. You're welcome. Sorry, I could not find a pic or a definite answer.
