  1. Yeah, but I bet it cost half of what a real car cost too ... lol.
  2. Does anyone have a decal source for 16th scale? Looking for tire decals and racing sponsors and such. Have some extra tires and would like to make the tire sticker for new tires, but I can't find a good pic of one on a NASCAR slick to copy either.
  3. I saw a rather poor looking die cast of it. That's all so far.
  4. Does anyone make a '55 Cadillac Fleetwood 60 Special ??
  5. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
  6. Thanks. I'll give it a shot sometime in the future and see how it turns out. Belts look good too.
  7. Thanks a bunch. I copied and saved them with my reference pics. That really clears things up. Thanks, I owe ya one.
  8. I did the Color Me Gone version years ago and have one left in the box to build up again. I liked Lindbergs version. I would not get a Dodge L700 truck though, or you will quickly change your mind. Flash, warped parts, stuff that did not line up properly and I can't remember what else I hated about it. That was the kit that has the flat bed with the 40 Ford on it. The trailer was good, the car and tractor where junk. I managed to make a decent post war race car out of the 40 Ford though.
  9. Thanks, that would be great.
  10. That does look really good. I would a swore I was looking at some Autometer gauges when I first saw that. I figured you bought it somewhere or stole it from a kit. Great job on that. I may have to give it a try at making my own gauges like that. What did you use to cut the aluminum tube? I don't think I can cut it that short with the cutter I have. Guess I could try to sand it down or drill a hole to set it in. I don't know how I would hold on to it if I tried a Dremel.
  11. Looks good. Can't wait to see it on it's wheels. Always liked the way the trim went around the deck lid in the back. Must have been fun to foil.
  12. Thanks. That would be really helpful if you can find some instructions. I can probably wing it after I get everything in hand, but I am just not familiar with this type of suspension set up.
  13. Thanks. That's the same guy at this other site. I sent Eric an e mail and he got back to me. I'll probably send out and order for them next Monday on my way home from work. He even said he would try to find and instruction sheet for them and send me a copy. I got a couple pics now, but I sure would like to find some more pics with even more detail on the mounting points on the frame and axle. Wonder if they require any extra locating bars to the frame or not?
  14. Where did you get the racing parts from? The gauge and switch panel look really good. I could use something like that.
  15. Looked like a 4 to me.
  16. Nice ride. I did notice a couple miscues though. I see the wires and dist in the rear, but it has a 440 six pack decal. All big block Mopar except for the early Hemi's have the dist. in the front. Plus the AAR had a flat black hood and fenders.
  17. Welcome, anytime. Just glad to help when I can.
  18. There you go. http://www.scalemodelingbychris.com/smbc_decalsp4.htm Oil Filter Decal Set Set Includes: 54 - K&N 24 - Fram 36 - Purolator Our Price $6.95
  19. Thanks. I googled for 20 mins or so and could not find a pic of the t bar set up.
  20. Ok, I e mailed Eric about the T Bar rear suspension too. Does any one have a really good detail pic of one? I'm sure there is no instructions with the resin piece, so I'll need a good pic to figure it all out.
  21. cowboysevens offeredsup a battery box and a trans, but I did not know what version it should come with. He had both a 10 and 13 spd. I told him I would post the question on here and see if you guys knew what came in it. Everybody has been a big help in pointing me in the right directions so I can make this accurate as possible.
  22. I checked SK an they don't have the T Bar set up either, but I did find a nice metal 1/25 steerable axle. Says it's for heavy resin use, but I would not mind a steerable axle. http://sourkrautsmodeltrucks.com/?page_id=3&category=47 Another question. What transmission. The AMT has that two stick aux trans set up. I know that was not in the MO trucks. Guess I need to find that Revell Germany kit and start over. lol
  23. Thanks for that link, but I did not find the T Bar set up.I guess I can send him an e mail. Might not have it on the site yet.

    COBRA

ok, I did not know that. That seems odd though, especially to me since we build a lot of race cars out of my shop. As for sanding the back seat off, it wont work on everything, but it can be made to work on most if the seat is not removable. I've sanded down the seat back where they are level with the package tray and some times you just have to use some sheet styrene to cover it up and make it look right.
