  2. That really looks great !! Nice build .
  3. This is a Amt 1958 Chevy impala , I built this a few years ago and can’t remember if I ever posted it here, as you can see there’s a lot of body work done to it before I could get it under primer, Shaving the chrome And re working the rear wheel wells , cutting and making a tilt front end, Custom paint is silver flake with tangerine , wheels, tires, motor and other parts are from other kits and parts box , thanks for looking!
  4. Here’s a Show rod bash I put together for an on line contest, Wanting to go for a 60’s to early 70’s Show Rod look I started with a $5 eBay glue bomb I bought for parts, lots of body mods and even more parts from different kits and parts box, painted candy lime gold with pearl white and darker Candy green fade over silver base , thanks for looking!
  5. I’ve had this model on the stack for years, now I’ve built ‘62’s 63’s tons of ‘65’s and all the other year’s of impalas but never have I built the 64 , so it’s time , but it had to be not so much a low rider but a custom, the car that low riders of today got their roots from, a 60’s Style custom that were everywhere on the streets and car shows when I was growing up in Long Beach California, A Larry Watson inspired cool bellflower cruzer, so starting with the custom body parts that came from the kit , Then adding a cool cob web purple candy and pearl paint job , then to the Astro supremes And small white wall tires ,the rabbit ear antennas and bellflower tip side pipes and of course the white 6” donut steering wheel ,and organ pipe speaker covers in the back window, all 60’s style , thanks for looking!
  6. This is a Flat body uncertain T that a buddy gave me years ago, when put together it looks a lot an Uncertain T body , I call mine an Uncertain D for Drag ! Along with the body this model was built from using parts from the parts box , Candy gold over flake and some candy tangerine fades at the bottom sides of the body , candy red Flames, and a custom made show interior , thanks for looking!
  7. Here’s a monogram 57 Chevy Bel Air 1/12 scale a buddy name Dave sent me about 10 years ago, I’ve been working on it for about that long off and on ! Finally finished!!! Lots of little mods and details, wheels are SS cragar from the Mpc shaker trike , tires are form the 57 Chevy kit I cut them and made them smaller to look more like 5:20 size tires, low riders will know what the means, I was going for a late 60’s early 70’s style low rider , shaved here and there , car had to have a 57 Buick grille, so I made a look alike, at first glance it fools the eye , motor is from the Mpc shaker trike also, paint is a metal flake silver base with a Candy brandy wine, top is multi color candys, car has only been in two shows this year and has done very well for its self , well I won’t bore ya , hope ya like .

  13. Thanks guys , Thanks can-con I did build one very much like this one way back in the mid 90’s , i built it with the Sunrise Sunset in mind ,it has been in several magazines over the years.I still have it in my collection, still looks like I built it yesterday.
  14. Here’s I started years ago , it start as a $5 glue bomb on EBay, bad shape but came with a nice original box so I had to have it , not wanting to restore it but do some kind of custom I pull out the old drawing pad and got to drawing, I came up with the chopper hauler , many body mods, paint is a silver metal flake with candys sprayed on top, full custom show car interior, wheels are MRC cragars, choppers are old revell Harley’s it’s always done good at the model car shows , here’s a pic of the original model , the drawing and the finished product, hope you like !
  15. This is the Revell 1969 Z/28, wanted to do a Custom/Show Car and hadn’t seen many 69 camero’s with the custom treatment, , I Started with a extended grille opening just a hair , spitting and molding the rear bumper, chopping the top , shaving the door handles, has a pretty much stock interior, couldn’t decide on what color to paint it so I pretty much went with no color, starting with a silver metal flake base then topping it with shades of black, only color used is a touch of red in the interior and a bit in the engine bay, thanks for looking!
  16. Here’s one I built after a real car that a buddy of mine painted the real car back in the early 70’s , my buddy’s name was Walt Prey , he also painted a pretty famous 64 Chevy impala named Gypsy Rose, also in the early 70’s, this 58 was named Sun rise Sun set , I loved this car as a kid when I first seen it in Hot Rod Magazine around 1973, so when a couple years ago I came across a resin 58 sedan delivery I knew I had to take a shot at trying to build one for myself, I did find a few pics on the internet but not many so I had to try and match the paint as close as I could, the side murals are hand painted , hope you like!
  17. Thanks Gman, I was going for a mid 60’s look , even has cheater slicks ! Thanks again!
