  1. The 200 replaced the Sebring but with loads of upgrades. We sell them at the dealer I work at and customers love them. Not too big or small and lots of poop with the 3.6. We sell a lot of 2.4 4 cyl too. Very reasonably priced for what your get. Made in America...Way to go.
  2. You've done a masterful job on the Charger. I have one point though(don't take this the wrong way). All "B" body Mopars of that vintage and others have the engine compartment all painted body color. Your car as it is will bring many compliments as is. Your work is clean and very good. Only wish I could build as well as you have. Your engine detail is the utmost. Very well done. Make sure its posted in Under glass when finished.
  3. Nice job after a 10 year layoff. I won't hold it on you if your French. We have a French speaking community in Winnipeg we are pretty proud of, with all their culture and all. Hope you get your NHL Nordiques back soon. It was great rivelry when they played the JETS years ago and I'am sure it would continue when they come back for you. Les Nordique WILL be back.
  4. I like it. Looks like someone would have done this in the early sixties with a model. Seems there was one something like it in Car Modeller early 60s.Might be wrong on the year etc but the name Shulkis comes to mind. Very retro. Going to be KILLER.
  5. Take it to a model show and put it in competition. You'll be surprised with the comments and you will probably even get a magazine shoot, only because its part of modelling history. Try it, you'll be surprised.
  6. A part of modelling history. Leave it as it is. The blue looks like a Humbrol color.
  7. I drive a 2012 Dodge Journey R/T Wife has a 2003 PT Cruiser with 117,000 km My summer cruisers are 1964 Plymouth Fury convertible with 426 Street wedge and a 72 Valiant Scamp 6 cyl with 43000 original miles. It is a survivor, never painted and rust free with all the markings.
  8. According to a Maurice Petty article I read years ago on their 68 Daytona RR, it was their most cheated up car he ever built. Something about channeling the front end and filling in all the air cheating on the undercarriage. It just looked wierd compared to the one driven by Darel Darringer.
  9. Verey well done job. Extra clean workmanship on a rare race car. Again, WELL DONE. MILLER to ya.

KILLER ...That Jeep green sure sets that BIG car apart from others. Very CLEAN and well done build.
  11. I'd leave the Black off the roof. That Olds looks pretty mean the way it sits on the stand. Leave it as it is. Wheels, can't help you except don't go with 22" or larger and no elastic band tires. That Olds need some meat to stand on.
  12. Andy I'am about like you. Your picture (avatar) is the Kendell car out of Minneapolis driven by John Hagen. It was later sold to Bob Bueckert and Ray Swanson from Winnipeg and wore Eastern Sales gold lettering on the 1/4 panels. What an awsome car it was in its day.
  13. If I'am not mistaken this Kinser car is a Gambler chassis car as in the other sprinters that were released years ago. He now runs a Maxim chassis which is different but you would have to get a chassis expert to know what to look for. Maxim is a down tube car but I can't remember if the older ones were. Tubes running from the top of the cage to the front of the chassis. Check out Hoseheads.com to see pictures of todays buggies. They are all much the same now a days with little things different. It build up into a fantastic looking model. You will enjoy building it up.
  14. Hard to believe that kit is 15 yrs old. You've done an great job on it. Very clean and well put together. Color combination is spot on. Well done...
  15. Daryl, chrome not on the left side, don't worry. Looks good the way it is. Can't see both side at one time anyway, who's to notice
  16. My grandson just turned one in November. He can say JETS(Winnipeg Jets) football and grandpa. I have cars on the back of my jacket and he says roar, roar. He sits on my knee and will watch a period or two of hockey on TV and has some small sticks he shoots around balls with in the house. Other relatives say he is brainwashed but I don't think so. My six year old grand-daughter has built a PT cruiser rag(like grandma had) and a few Lego cars for grandpa by herself. She's not much into models but does play hockey. She is now eight.
  17. Was on the Spotlight board and a member said his new issue came in the mail today. Said of a follow-up on the 53 Hudson inside. He went to read it and there was NO such reading inside the issue. What happened? He wasn't too happy.
  18. What a fantastic job on the Charger. You went all out on everything. One thing I got to ask though. Why didn't you take off the engraving on the gas tank? You have a very CLEAN looking car. Sorry to knit pick on the engraving, but I got curious. No harm meant.
  19. Thats going to be KILLER, the interior is just plain AWSOME. Looks like some clean building techniques. Very nice progress.
  20. Do it like the original picture. Looks striking with the red stripe and interior. Maybe put on the fender well skirts for a nice touch too.If you could find a pair of 1961 Plymouth lights you could put them under the fins like many did in the 59 era.
  21. And here I thought you were some CRANKY old man who lived in a Lab-RAT-ory. Wow, you've got talent with the paint. Like the Willys and 32s best. What brand of clear do you use? Awsome work...........
  22. Thats gonna look okay. Kinda wild I think. Low to the ground and hopefully with Ford power. Hope you do it in a bright gold or emerald green with a contrasting white interior. Will surely stand out. Nice start.
  23. Only modeler I know from Vancouver or B.C. is Shannon Dumalo(sp) You can also take in a hockey game with the Canucks. Enjoy your trip at Christmas time and be prepared to see rain and no sun. At least you don't have to shovel rain............LOL
  24. Very Very nice and clean. You've done a super job.......
  25. First car was a 65 Valiant Signet 2 dr ht. Slant/3spd manual on the column. Dark blue/blue interior. Bought for $1350, sold to the neighbors grand son for $2850. Been buying and selling on the side since. Was a good car.
