  1. Jay give me a call sometime. I think you have my number but I know you have my email...Good hearing from you...
  2. There are many questions about this car. Why hasn't anybody heard of this car before. If Galen authetized it, I'd be questioning it too. He did a friends Coronet convertible at the Nats in 94 and said it was what it was. NOT, I know it was a 383 and cloned, even the serial # was reworked...
  3. That red one is just WOW...Very clean and well done...EXCELLENT work....
  4. There is just something about a primed body of a car/truck. Looks sooo good, maybe even better than with paint. I like shiney so it would have to be painted. Brings up another topic to this, don't forget to prime/paint the hood the same time as the car. Pigments in the paint settle and you'll get different(ever so little) color. I know a friend who shot a 67 Coronet 440 hemi car with the doors/gasdoor separate and you could see the difference.
  5. Fireball died in hospital about a month or so after the crash. He developed pneumonia (complications) from the crash. Pneumonia is a very dredful desease that can kill you. Not only in fire victims but others too.
  6. Goes to show you that you should have left well alone. Beautiful Chevy, wonder why you would want to put different wheels on it. Looked very good to me. It was a nice clean build up on a 66 Chev....
  7. Very nice job on Cale's car. You cheated it up like in the olden days, just like the builders...Nice job...
  8. Beautiful models. There must be something in the air in Finland that makes good builders and hockey players (Temmu Selanne)
  9. I'am not an American but enjoy visiting my daughter in Shakopee Mn. I love the US anthem and when its sang at our NHL games I stand proudly just like one of you. I travel lots to the US, I feel like I belong. Without the US involvment in lots of those foreign coutries they would be in shambles.....I better not say too much more. This is political enough for me...God Bless America......
  10. I like the picture on the bottom. Don't know what kind of wheels they are but the bigger tires look better on Street Rods. Elastic band tires look good on newer cars, not street rods...
  11. Nice lookin job on the Charger. Like the white stripe idea on the sides/hood/roof. One thing I'am not fussy on is the numbers on the sides.(You said in another post you didn't mind criticizm) The car is very clean and well done/thought out...Keep it up...
  12. I'am with the 70Judgeman. Grilled steak and potatoes/onions on the grill/barbeque. Definately Chicago style/charred....I can taste it now. Too close to bed time to go out and fire up the bbq and eat a steak. Doesn't settle this close to bed time...
  13. I can't buy MCM in Winnipeg. I subscribed and it ran out the same time my wife went on disability. I'am retired and on fixed income so I deceided the subscription had to not be renewed.. $60.00 some for a year was just a little to high. Good magazine that I still read my back issues that are in my computer room. Love the board too. I do buy it and back issues from LHS when I go to Fargo ND to visit. Try to buy it when I can...
  14. Can't get away from the computer....Hard going down and climbing stairs.....Those are probably the main reasons of not building much. Stroke kinda worked the mind some, not only the stairs thing....Like someone earlier said, life in general...
  15. I like where this is going since I am a Mopar freak(64 yr old freak) Even in the dark green plastic it looks KILLER. Some dark green/light green with a light colored interior to set off the contrast. Anything but black interior and no yellow wiring please. Going to be a sharp machine when your done. Continue on and for sure post more pictures.....
  16. Very nice and "KILLER". That color just pops and sure makes it stand out. That super smooth clear doesn't hurt either. Very nicely done and super clean....I want one.....
  17. Thats beautiful. Actually looks like a job one of the professional car builders did for ambulance/hearse in the early 50s. Very nice and clean build. Not a Hudson fan but you've hit the nail on the head with this one...EXCLLENT...
  18. Put that in a contest somewhere and it will be in a magazine for sure. Very neat and well done...
  19. Very,Very nice. I like shiney but I like satin too. That Chev is sooooo clean and simple(in a nice way) one just can't not like it. Again very well done.
  20. Search out Dr. Jay. He built an excellent rendition of Fred Lorenzen's 63 Galaxie #28.. I think he frequents this form....
  21. The Camino looks killer. Maybe rid of the cruiser skirts and do fender well skirts instead. It will compliment the lines
  22. While people were talking about beer companies and liquor companies. Do you know that Crown Royal is produce in the first stages in Gimli Manitoba Canada? People say its the best of that kind of alcholo....
  23. Take a drive for about two hours and talk to Junior in Fargo ND. He's very good at detailing and I know would be very glad to show you some tricks. You'd have to buy steak and drinks at Lonestar but that shouldn't cost over a "C" note. Really is good at that type of thing with models.
  24. As nice as your Hudson is and many others there is just something that doesn't turn my crank for a Hudson. Wasn't fussy when they were being built and still not a fovorite now. Your model is very nice and well done. Clean,clean,clean...
  25. Maybe I'd better not say anything but I will. Don't like the rear spoiler or wheel flares but what a nice model. Very clean and well done for the period. The paint is to die for. Sorry for the dislikes, don't take it as bad news. Your model looks just fine the way it is.
