  1. Beauty, very nicely done..You should be proud, very proud of your work..Like the Lark...My son-in-law has a restored boat like that..He lives in Shakopee MN...Its a beauty...
  2. Very nice model done up very good..The car you are thinking of was a 1968 or 69 Valiant 200 2 dr post and I thing it was done by Mopar Action Magazine by the editor(Erenberg) If I recall.. Was a mean machine...
  3. All my Ford buddies say it should be black under the hood...To me I think the way you did yours is more convincing..Very nicely done and shows WAY better than black...Fantastic build...I like very much...
  4. When Waltrip first started it was funny fuel then this...NAPA did the right thing..I personally don't think this is completely over yet...Toyota(although I'am not a fan of theirs) still hasn't said anything...More could roll because of this..I feel for Martin. Maybe if he goes elsewhere NAPA will follow him...Would serve Waltrip right...
  5. Nice out of the box build...One of the few Challengers that people mold in the front pan and scribe proper lines...Very nice and CLEAN build...You can be proud of your work on your Challenger....
  6. Nothing but a bomb would make a Prius look good. Most mundan little POS there is....
  7. I bought a Rampage in 1983. Ordered every option available except kept the manual trans. Thought it would be a good commuter and maybe pick up some small stuff..Black/red very sharp..Kept it a few months, nothing but trouble. Nothing fit, Fit and finish unheard of...Lost lots of money on it but traded it for a shortbox Dodge Ram 6 cyl with air...Rampage smallest little POS I've owned in my life and I've bought new cars every year since 1969...Big mistake...
  8. Very nice job on that Superbird..Although the kit is fairly simple they build up real sweet..You've done a super job...Very clean too...
  9. Very well done..The paint looks like its poured on, sooo smooth.Very nice although not a fan of the wheels/tires and the red frame...Very clean job Thats a winner for sure...
  10. Lookin' pretty sweet....Silver doesn't really show the depth but your fender tops sure show the shine...Very simple and not too gawdy..Like the plain look,no do-dads..Got that sleeper look....CLEAN...CLEAN...CLEAN...
  11. Sounds like the original one released many years ago. Sure hope the do though...
  12. Unfortunately if you can't restore it yourself it would cost you way more to make one for todays safety standards...Labor rates are sky high and parts aren't cheap any more..If you had lots of disposable money you could make a real sweet ride. Too good to be a daily driver...My little two cents worth.
  13. Since my stroke in '98 I haven't really had the big interest I did before. Did some bench time only to get p'd off and quit. On the nice summer days/nights I like to cruise in my 64 Fury convertible..In the winter its JETS hockey..Grandkids hockey and playing cars with my 2 yr old grandson...I think maybe I will get him either a snap kit or Leggo car to help him build...Wish I could get out of this funk....
  14. What ever color you do it don't do the interior black...White with black dash/floors will stand out more...
  15. The "KING" with his horse...There will only be ONE KING.KNG RICHARD PETTY...Definately one of his nicer mounts...
  16. Lookin'pretty good. The paint lookd rite one, nice and bright...What brand and color is it? Taken in the sun sure helps too...
  17. Hey SFD, where are the running boards...LOL...Don't all cars from Saskatchewan have running boards...Nice work...Isn't Canadian Tire/Parts Source a good place to buy paint? Larger cans and lower price than Tamiya...Next time I have a dealer trade to Saskatoon I will try to call you and we can go for coffee or something to eat...
  18. Only coming from Dr. Kerry.. Friends with Frankie and Marty would expect something like this. Very well done and unexpected...
  19. Dummy me...Many years ago, in the late 70s someone gave me a bbq with bricquets. They wouldn't light so I thought GAS will start a fire anytime. You bet it did. Hair/eyebrows and pride. Last grill with bricquets I ever had. My son has one that will go with propane and bricquets. The latter sure makes the food taste far better...I own an Broil Mate now. Made by same company as Broil King. Parts are interchangable and made in North America. Wisconsin I think...
  20. I've mentioned that before on builds of Barracuda/Cuda/Challenger models. Doesn't take much to fill it in and re-scribe the panel lines in either body...
  21. Very nice job on your Prius..The only thing missing, which would destroy your model, are taxi cab decals. Nice clean build on one of the worlds most mundane automobiles...

I don't know what you drink or eat but I know two people from Peurto Rico(sp) and both build spectacular models. Don't know what to say...OH YEA!!!!!
  23. The black car seems to be a poor restoration job compared to the other two. Looks like a lot of bondo/putty used to smoothen out the lines. Not a very well done car...
  24. Agree 100%....Lets get real here guys...
  25. Martinfan5 My comment wasn't direct to you personally. I went to all who complained of little stuff...We should be lucky that they are trying to make another one better than the last two abortions they had out. This one looks pretty close...
