  1. Think there has been some deadly crashes in NASCAR??? Add 600 volt batteries smashing together and spilling over the fans!! Go away Bill......please leave us alone. PS WILL NOT HAPPEN IN MY LIFE TIME.
  2. Many retailers have gone to a ID all policy to avoid losing their liquor license. The chain my son works for requires the last two digits of birthday or alcohol will not ring up. Ultimate CYA for the company.
  3. Best price after hunting was right at $80 usd delivered. Maybe someday.....but got a $12K house repair coming so not right now!!!
  4. WHY.....is this kit the same price as the new 1/12 Tamiya F1 Tyrrell kit??? The Tamiya has lots of new tooling, PE parts and twice the size?? I wanted the DS19 BAD but doubt I can justify the cost. New ICM 1/24 kits are in the low $30 range......they'll get my cash for now. I'll just watch you build.....
  5. The chrome tree was cloned for the Imperial kit by Model King. The kit was issued twice by Dave in two different boxes.
  6. The next 12-18 months should be interesting. With R2 in control of Hawk, Lindberg, Ertl, AMT and MPC (and this includes some IMC and other molds) imagine how long just inventoring the molds alone!! Also remeber kits like the AMT 34 Ford pick-up?? Lost for years only to be found at a tool maker. Inspecting and checking tooling is a very long and difficult process.....sit back and watch.
  7. IF by some odd chance R2 found those simple 1958 20 part annuals......I'll buy 2 or more each......but I am a nobody!!
  8. I have a Volks Van junker that the builder never glued the rear body half on so I can build Bus and Van.....Lug will not be tough either!
  9. It started with a kiss was the stop Futura made between being a Ford show car and becoming the Barris Batmobile.
  10. ZINC ROT is the semi official name for the issue.........think it's bad when your 1/18 car gets it??? Try a $2000 locomotive!!
  11. If they are doing those......I like this one too!!!!! Same series as those others.....or at least I saw them at Dollar General together....
  12. What is the story with the 1/20 Vette and Mustang???
  13. I saw both films first day. Both are well done and even handed and need to be seen if you like the freedoms we have.
  14. Add to the fact the old IMC 48 Ford was last in Japan with Union and then never seen again. It would cost more to make the IMC a good kit than just a new body for Revell's own 48 running gear.
  15. That 48 may surprise Revell......I need 3-4 at least!!
  16. The top grille bar is different for 46 as is the hood ornament.....and thankfully the IMC kit has them. My 1/1 cars trunk is smooth. I would like to add the stock bumpers back on mine too but they are costly! I hope the 48 police car pic is a quick photoshop and not what we will get. thx!
  17. Bay and the film present what happened straight from the mouths of those who it happened to. YOU then decide what to think. NO preaching in the film. We should all go and see what kind of people we do have in this country. I saw it opening day and give it a AA++ and will see it again. I say see it and tell us your opinion.
  18. I still need the IMC 46 Ford trim and grille parts......but happy I do not have to deal with that multi-part body!!!
  19. Very nice work!!!
  20. More than likely a stock coupe body added tot he stock convertible 48 Ford Revell did a few years ago. The IMC kits is OK at best.....
  21. Everyone that is happy for the stock body 48 Ford can thank me!!!!!!! Why?? Because I just spent a good amount of time and money on old IMC 48 Ford kits, Revell Custom 48 Fords and doing a lot of planning on how to cut them up to make my newest 1/1 car!!!! So perfect timing to release a stock body 48.......you;re welcome!!! But is will be great to get the stock 48 body for this kit. I'll buy a few........along with the NASCAR Chevy's....happy the Revell kits are easy to strip......the Olds is cool.......good overall. Thx
  22. If that kit sells for $350......it wil be hard to keep mine!!!
  23. The wifes 'puppy' (9 months old Newfoundland) is 100 lbs and acts like a toddler.......no sense of how big.....or where....or any idea of what she is doing. A good guard dog for sure......but a huge lummox!!!
  24. I have one of those kits....bought when they were blowing them out. Grew up So Cal so kinda hit home. Also reminds me while sitting here in 4 degrees with 40 mph wind that I was in San Diego one year ago today visiting.......a VERY different day!!!
