For mud caking on things.......try acrylic matte medium mixed with paint to make a mud you can apply in any thickness.

THANKS for posting that!!!! It's a pretty decent B or independent film for that era......most you can't watch they're so bad......Kinda liked this one. Add to it a family connection of sorts.........Dad was Valvoline racing director for the west coast at the time this was filmed so all those Valvoline decals and hats came through his office at one time or another.......a far reach but it tripped some memories I have of helping Dad put together bags with Valvoline decals, a pocket protector and hat that we would hand out at events in So Cal. LOTS of model ideas in it too........ Dad's office in downtown LA early 1960's.....

Saw the film when it came out....I own the DVD now.......needless to say I like the film as much as the car itself. Many claim it is wildly inaccurate in the facts......I prefer to think it does compress story lines and dramatizes some facts....but the overall affect is a VERY good one. Some say the car itself caused the failure.....I think it has SOMETHING to do with the big 3 and the fear Tucker caused them.

You're fine......a nice but not overly large collection. In 2015 I sold 2000 kits........and I still have enough to build one a day........for a long long time.....

Try and find the segment on Jay Leno's Garage where Jay drives a Tucker HARD and it is amazing. The car was Ford Coppola's .....one of two the film maker owns!!! VERY complete cars for prototypes for sure!

Lucas SOLD Star Wars.......he didn't loose it in a hostile take over or some type of wrong doing. I like Lucas........American Graffiti is his best film and my favorite growing up in So Cal 1960's..... But he SOLD SW......take your billion and have a good life!

Rogue Squadron will come out DEC 2016 with Eps 8 DEC 2017. I am looking forward to Rogue as it goes 'back in time' and can expand the time period we like the best (in and around Eps 4) Plus it will have lots of hardware....which is big for me!! PS Theater owners have voted Rogue as #1 most anticipated 2016 film......Disney will need more vaults for the cash.

GREAT color and paint......... I kinda like the kit....wish it was 1/25 but still decent. I want to build that color someday........my Yellow version....

That's what I refereed to in my post.......it was expensive and most failed after a number of years. Very complicated for sure!

I just put them in my 1/1 1966 Mustang 2+2 project car......amazing as I remember when the Cougar first had them and the control box was like $700.....now with LED's and a VERY small PC board you have them for $75!!

Which kit??

I know exactly how you feel!!!! Buying the AMT COT kits with Hendrick markings.....it almost killed me!!!!! (I worked in NASCAR licensing 1980's through 2000 so take my word) Any way.......just happy to see new NASCAR kits....even if they are based on rather old tooling....old in racing terms. The bodies are very well done and roll cage is decent. The chassis and exhaust are being reused from the older early 2000 kits.....which is VERY different than a COT Gen II chassis. BUT NASCAR racers are bodies......today under those bodies are almost 100% the same other than engine and those look more and more alike every day......these kits have no motors and avoid the issue completely. My biggest complaint is not the chassis as once built not much an issue........but stickers only is an issue. I am doing my own decals but I wish there were nice grille, headlight etc decals included. Thanks to Revell and Ford for trying something new at least.

You and Terry Jessie are the only two brave enough to build this thing. I have a mint kit....and planned to build....but with what it is going for......hard to do now!! VERY nice work!

That EXACT car has not been kitted....but it could be build with some work and custom decals....

CHANGE......not often good for us older types......or easy to understand. Goes for about all things I touch.
