Never used that item.....but use a LOT of Dupli-color products and love them on my models and 1/1 projects. Let us know!

I have that issue.....and the top/roof is on the body with instructions about how to chop it off!!!! So as Tim said......you can make your own now that the bed cover has been restored!!!!

Having been in model car licensing from around 1983 until 1998 I could tell you horror stories about licensing. And even though I do not do much of that today (still a little) it has killed some major projects. I'll write a book someday!!

Seen it 3 times. 2 in 2D once 3D.........3D was a total waste for me. Film is a conversion and not shot 3D so not well done. 2D was great.....nice and clear...bright. 3D dark and blurred........IMHO

Any kit in whole or part can be cloned. I loaned my Dragon Wagon to Revell for that reissue. It boils down to weather the profit is there. Truck kits sell well and have a little better margin because of the MSRP. 1960 El Camino??? Not sure enough demand with the 59 still out there.

The MPC Toyota is a decent little kit too......

Same thing Revell - Ford did with the Mustang snap kit. wait a short time and buy it for $10. It's a good thing for Ford and our hobby.

The Monza kit with ALL the stuff....stock, drag and custom IMSA stuff would be a good 3 in 1........some cool retro box art.....I can see it!!

Took the wife this afternoon. 2nd time for the 2D version.....the 3D was not set up right, I say, and was a waste. Saw the first SW the first day...and every one since. Yes.....it's typical Holltwood fair but enjoyed it for what it is. Go home and put on the DVD of Hitchcocks 'Vertigo' or your favorite classic to clean up the brain!!! I had fun....wife enjoyed.....$10 worth in todays world. ($5 Tue here)

I still have mine....mint condition. The 'mouth' is not only a different plastic it looks like it may have been a epoxy mold or maybe aluminum .....other short term use tooling.....so it may have been tossed years ago.

WHY does clearing Silver Leaf kill it so bad????? I built a Monogram Fast Buck and painted it silver leaf over the molded blue.....looked FANTASTIC!!!! Then I cleared it. Still OK....but just a common silver I could have gotten with Testors.....

The #43 car with Richard driving ran ONCE!! Joe ran the #04 car most of that season. The #43 was mainly a PR move to get people to buy the kit cars!

I saw it on Thursday 16th.....went back a few days later to see the 3D version.....a waste of money in our theater as it just seemed dark and fuzzy. I've seen every film opening day...first showing......so I am a fan. Esp 7 was good....not great but good.

ANY of the 1/24-25 slot car 'bodies' as curbside reissues would be welcome to me.......Maybe a REALLY cool box art with two cars in each box. Feel free to use that idea John!!!! I have the Cox Cheetah and Chaparral curbside kits.....I should say HAD a Cheetah.....it was in it's box....when I opened it one day and the body was in about 10 pieces....it had become super brittle and exploded!!! Even now it almost crumbles. A reissue would be good....but doubt molds are out there....and Modelhaus is nicer any way!

I was able to buy three of those Brat kits when a wholesaler we bought from went out of business and found a stash of old product. A decent looking kit....yet to build one.....seems like a no brainer for a reissue but I don't pay the bills and Subaru may not be to license friendly.

I have sold around 2500 kits this year....yet I buy more!!! I have enough now to build one a day for many many years...... Someone is marketing right!!

Yes......I'd love to have a firm list of all tooling, complete or not, to see what is out there. It'd be great fun.....that would serve no purpose for R2 at all. In fact it could almost be harmful......so we will all have to just wait, or have fun speculating, on what is out there......... besides.....I do not think ANYONE knows 100% what is out there. Think along the lines of the AMT 34 Ford pick-up kit. Lost....then found and 'claimed' by another, at the time, manufacture. There is a good possibility of old tooling sitting in the storage area of a tool shop somewhere.

What Luc said........ What is there does not matter as much as condition.......if usable it will be run at some point.
