  1. $13 for the Trikes is to high....or I'd get a set.
  2. At one time I took 12 or so magazines a month. I am down to three now. But the magazines are killing themselves. Many of the mags I took went from 12 issues a year to 4....at a higher price!!!! So it's death by killing themselves as much as anything
  3. Very nice work!!! I have 2 connections to this car. Dad was Valvoline racing rep 1960-70 and jnew Bill. Then when Model King issued the kit I supplied the decal artwork......thanks
  4. Nice work....came out great even with challenges. I learned to drive in our family 73 Pinto wagon. A neat car really. Dad took me to a huge parking lot, handed me the keys and said 'Go drive'. $ speed manual....I did just that. Thx
  5. COOL!!!! Feared it was some type of hot rod elevator!!!
  6. It's their biz model.....fewer kits.....higher price.
  7. Nice and clean work!!!
  8. Instructions for the Ding-a-ling. Some of the parts are in the current kit. thx
  9. https://youtu.be/H0xcaRMNixA?si=fWq6BsSNDh7kj4TU
  10. It's a clone of the old Aurora kit but yet to build it....
  11. This is the last issue of the kit. It had 'stock' parts like wheels, tires, engine etc but it is a model of a altered OLDS car into a truck flatbed. So stock is not bone stock anything. But it is a gReat start to many a vintage build. Thx
  12. Well done build!! I like that kit. KINDA curbside and simple it can be made to look good. The kit started out as a Japanese kit, sold to ESCI. RC2 bought ESCI and used the 935 kit twice. A while back AMT asked if I had any mint kits as they wanted to find the tooling. They never found it and a year laterItlaeri issued it. Somehow it ended up there.
  13. Good stuff!!!! Looks a little chilly!!!!! I am bias........we have 4 Mustangs....I bought this one in 1975!!!
  14. Maybe R2 is throwing in odds and ends to fill cases??????
  15. I'd not mind getting the trikes and Creep Coupe!! I checked Beckley WV and they had 2 74 Road Runners and 2 Jeeps. Odd how one store gets a ton while another gets nothing.
  16. The luck of the Ollie's draw!!! I wasn't looking for the RR......I wanted a Go Kart. I had surgery 2 weeks ago and am wheelchair bound......wanted a Go Kart to build while in recovery. Brush paint like a 10 year old I was!!!
  17. I'll really dream and hope I can get a Mustang II coupe so I can model our original 1/1 car we own!!!
  18. My haul from FEB 10............ The Coke P/U and Coronet came from WalMart. $8 and 10 on close out. The other are Ollie's. I noted the Bond police cars had Hobby Lobby price tags on them. I want the Go Cart......so I'll check other stores. Thx
  19. $20 a pop means at LOT less buying for me......I still have some Ollie's dump kits with $6.99 and two Lindberg 1/8 T kits with $19.99 stickers!!!!
  20. I build abput as many train items as model auto. Model trains were my first hobby. Some custom paint jobs
  21. Last visit we were down to Mach5 and 1/32 Green Hornets..........some good items there
  22. GMP die cast sold them at one time
  23. Does vid look washed out???
  24. The original builder of 'T' is alive and a bit 'Different' fellow that has been planning for 15 years to make a new model kit of the car. He is also known for litigation.....the perfect storm I bet Atlantis has no interest sailing into.
  25. Pretty sure tooling is long gone. Per those at RM many years ago. A clone could be done....but not what Atlantis does right now. Add to it licensing issues with original builder.
