You know I determined it was real . I was right . The model builder would leave these off being fogged with glue smudges . Thanx ..

Thank you Harry . This is the first one I got right ....Thanx ..

I found the wire wheels . Herb Deeks Models 1516 E. Santa Ana St. Anaheim , California 92805 I did not find the VW wheels . I just know the perfection of these . All of this , if only you want the deep dish . Thanx ..

I was way to fast on my reply . Sorry about this , I am on Dial up . Not used to such speed ?? Not quite Dave . He Photo Etches (and has since it was first tried for Model Cars) . He dabbles in resin on the side . His location is somewhere in California . Possibly Herb Deeks ? Don't trust my faulty Memory on these details . I must have bought these in the '80's - '90's decade . Thanx

No , not quite . The Caster I am referring to does Photo Etching and resin as a side line .He is in California , I think so anyway . Herb Deeks ??? Thanx ..

I have two sets of VW resin cast wheels . Stock and deep set . These are meant for Dune Buggies ? Hmmmmm . I cannot remember where I bought them . He also makes excellent Wire Wheels . I read about these in a Scale Car Magazine . Made to fit the Rouka : Alfa and Talbot post war race cars . Anyone help me here ?? Thanx ..

I am after the '60's &'70's Jeepster Hood and Hardtop , ragtop . I enquired and this is what I found . I posted this , you could bump if you want this stuff ; Yes, Alan @ Ma's resin has these in production now. Not sure if the convertible parts are ready for sale yet, but the hardtop parts are for sure. No hood available as of now, but I thought about having an entire front clip reproduced by Alan of the 67-71 body style. Please post in the thread to bump it so everyone can see it again, and give your opinion about a hood or front clip, also send Alan a message with any questions and/or ordering info. I am not so sure I want the front clip . Too many Irons in the fire to scratch build the original (1973 JEEP Wagoneer) . I sure hope I did this right to make this bump worthy .... Thanx ..

Phone calling Perry's Resins is the best recourse . I am still on the lookout , Randy , for the first one you sent me on my last purchase . I bet it went to Tialand . I give up looking for it . He or a close friend of his keeps on this site . Excellent castings . Thanx ..

Question for Casey & other resin casters
dimaxion replied to Monty's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
The Stantions are "Landing Gear" you spoke of . I am still lacking good , accurate , E & F-70-14 Wide Ovals ! I have many stillborn Muscle Cars waiting / wanting for these period correct tires . Then G & H F-70-14 & 15" Muscle Car tires for the later Muscle tires . Come to thinh of it , FR-78 Series tires for the '70's & 80's would not be something I would pass up either . -
All the right stuff and Green . You have me there ! You did your homework , nice build . Corvair Power was popular then . 630 gaskets to leak was problematic was the downside . Thanx ..

Randy has told me chilling accounts about the Mail in the Great White North . Well , maybe a little lower where our Canadian Friends live . You know what , these are true accounts . He isn't making this stuff up . We make jokes about "going Postal" and complain about our Postal service . They have it bad , we do not . His stuff is Superior to the Average Caster . Best way , meet him at the Shows . Or , fantasy thinking , go to his Hobby Shop . Thanx ..

Resin 69 Javelin SST
dimaxion replied to Sport Suburban's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Thank you Raoul . I did receive the '68 Javein kit . As nice as the '69 . For those unknowing , the '68 v/s the '69 Javelins had different grilles and hoods . Another kit I am pleased to endorse . Just like the '69 , Hendrix quality . Sport Surbaban , cudos . Thanx .. -
It is a model . The headlight covers are missing . These nose dimples for the lights would be aerodymically disastorous ! Not installed by the builder . The background is Lower Stuibbonia . Thanx Harry ...

TKM molds the Mark 6 . I think he stil may have the Mark 5 . Go to , bottom of page , click Model Car Links . All are listed in Alphabetical Order . He might have some Town Cars . Not for the faint of heart . Thanx ..

The Body might be from a caster in AZ. I think . He might be on . I have recently lost all of my contacts and stored information due to a Hacker . I have one of his full kits . Needs work . IMHO , no worse than R&R . Not as much as TKM . It is among the "Vairs" unbuilts .

Factory Stock , my genre . Looks like a New Car in the lot . Well done and these pics are well done . IMHO just right on both counts .. Thanx ..
-
"Just like the real thing . Only smaller of course ." Green you have me . Factory Stock my genre . I do like this indeed . It is a great build .... Thanx ..
-
Nice build . Ok , a repaint (Earl Schieb ; "Any Car , any color" [as long as it was their excuse for paint {IMHO}] . The tires had to be leftovers from prior to 1962 when the thin whiote walls came out and made the W/W's obsolete and extinct as Dodo Birds . Just right for a Penny Pincher of the day ! Well done model . Thanx ..
