  1. Cool Subject! We used a Model A "doodlebug" as a parts chaser/torch wagon at the junk yard for many years.
  2. Welcome Dave! I remember this car, I think it looks even better in person. Hope to see more of the great models you do. Tom
  3. If the board is only for speed control, bypass it and make it a full speed rotary tool. You can buy a plug in type speed control used for routers.
  4. Now that is awesome! I think it may be a Henry J rear instead of a Hudson AzTom
  5. Here is a survivor I built back in 1969?.
  6. That should be a fun build. What scale is the model you are working on? AzTom
  7. It does look like they put a right side decal on the left side All of the photos I found did not have the streaks. The model is sure looking great.
  8. My old 68 Ford Ranger. I should have photos of the 67 I had somewhere.
  9. I think they were actually aluminum. I am so excited about getting these kits.
  10. Very nice build. Were the wipers the wrong way because it was a left hand drive or did Minichamps mess up?
  11. Great start. I have not seen the sedan delivery. I picked up a Nomad awhile back to do something with but I really like the sedan delivery better.
  12. Very Nice! Looks better than the factory paint jobs.
  13. Very Nice! Excellent color choice.
  14. The paint and graphics on these are just awesome.
  15. Very nice! Great colors.
  16. I picked some older diecast HO kits at the Brass Armadillo Antique mall. Not my normal but they were way too cheap to pass up and I do like old Ford trucks As you can see they have some pretty nice detail.
  17. Awesome graphics and painting.
  18. Very Nice! Love these Divcos. Ertl made a nice 1/25 scale in stock version.
  19. I agree with you Al. I know Times are a Changing but I still think people would rather buy in person when they can. When we had the store it amazed me how many customers didn't even have Internet connection. I work part time at an antique mall and sell farm toys and models there. I have offered my card with my web address to several customers that bought at the mall and they tell me they would rather just get them at the mall. As for the show, I didn't see where Hobbico/Great Planes, parent co of Revell, were even at the show. They have allways had a huge display there. I really enjoyed going to the Chicago show, you could even win great prizes
  20. Yes you would lose the trim. I also like the side trim, but if an Olds sedan delivery was every made it probably wouldn't have the side trim anyway. I figure changing the headlights and grill will be easier than dissecting the top to the Olds. That's if the chassis will fit the Chevy without too much work. I don't have the Olds kit yet and my JF body is packed away so I won't be able to check it out for awhile. I'm ready to start following your build
  21. I had that same thought. I have a JF 51 Chevy Sedan Del body that should be an easy fit. AzTom
  22. You need to at least stop in Goodyear and see the new Brass Armadillo Antique mall.
