  1. Does anyone know where the wires would come out of this type magneto? I'm thinking they come out of those side caps, four per cap. I searched the web with no luck. The engine is from the AMT Popcorn Wagon. Does anyone know what engine it is? Thanks, AzTom
  2. Thanks, It works great for me, and you never have too much storage space. The peg board is regular fiber type board with a silver finish. I got it at Lowes about four years ago and was only a dollar or so more than the white. AzTom
  3. I built mine using two tool box base cabinets without the wheels and a 10ft kitchen counter top. It's set up for two work stations, one for the grandson. I also added a 4in deep shelf along the top of the back splash. I have tools, sand paper and supplies in one cabinet, paints, air brush stuff along with parts and peices in the other cabinet. AzTom
  4. Hubley 30 Ford Vicky.
  5. Congratulations! Me being a Ford man, you could become my nest best buddy AzTom
  6. I did see that Chuck, great article. I like what you did with yours, you cease to amaze me. AzTom
  7. Great history Dan, That is a good build for most of us by today's standards. I recently found some of my old models from the early 70's so I know what the feeling is like. AzTom
  8. Dan, You could have taken that secret to your grave. I can't imagine anyone knowing the show that well and knowing the difference between the County and City seals. Anyway, it is a great build and as stated I was only guessing about the siren. AzTom
  9. Awesome! AzTom
  10. Thanks for sharing George. I added you as a Fotki friend. I like the 60 Ford Pickup. AzTom

  14. Here's a 1/18 scale 55 Chevy sedan delivery I did from a Johnny Lightning Coke car. Complete 55 Chevy Build
  15. Great build, I like that vinyl top on it. AzTom
  16. Nice build Dan, I'm old enough but I think that was before we had a TV. I'm going to guess the Fender light/siren should be on the driver fender. AzTom
  17. Does anyone know what the engine is? Maybe an old Ford 312? Also, Does anyone know where the wires would come out of this type magneto? I'm thinking they come out of those side caps, four per cap. I searched the web with no luck.
  18. Just Awesome! What color is it going to be? Not many done in Frost Green.

  20. Sorry I missed you guys, We were on a tight schedule. If they have it here again I am planning on being there two days. AzTom
  21. Rats, I had that kit in my hands Friday at Hobby Lobby with a 40% off coupon and didn't buy it. I have the Drag truck and looked over the Coke box hoping it could be built stock but didn't see anything saying that. Why is it so hard for kit manufactures to understand they could sell more kits if we knew what was in them. AzTom
  22. I got the rest of my photos up-loaded (142) of everything but the cars and trucks. If they ever have this here again I'm going for at least two days. IPMS Misc Models Aren't the IPMS headquarters in Canton Oh? I remember a few members used to frequent Tom-C-Toys on a regular basis. AzTom
  23. I have used this brand with great results although not on side trim like you are doing. They do have a mold material for that type of casting. Here is the site, lots of How To tips on there. Smooth-On I didn't research the trim you are doing but if it's simple chrome strip Monte has the right idea. They make several sizes of half round and quarter round strips. Have Fun, AzTom
  24. I voted yes. My main coarse is diecast cars and tractors. I subscribe to the magazine because it's Model Cars. That said I joined the Model Cars forum to meet other builders and learn new modeling techniques. AzTom
  25. The Grandson and I had a great time at the show. The grandson drove, didn't have any trouble finding a parking space, Here's some photos of the car and truck kits. http://public.fotki.com/aztom/toys--models/plastic-model-cars-kits/model-contests/ipms-nat-convention-2010/ AzTom
