  1. Okay, I'm now going on Friday. The Grandson had too much going on Today. I set up at the Regional IPMS in Mesa a few years ago and there were a few cars in that contest. AzTom
  2. Great save, Nice colors. AzTom
  3. There is also a Ravenna Model club in Portage county. I think they meet at Tom-C-Toys in Garrettsville. Tom-C-Toys AzTom
  4. Hey David, I missed you at the Desert Classic, maybe we can meet here. My plans are for sometime in the morning. I'm pretty sure the vendors will be set up, just not sure if all of the models will be entered in the contest early Thursday. I was planning on setting up here but several weeks ago I read on here the vendor area was sold out. I found out early this week it was NOT sold out but now I don't have time to get ready for it. It should be fun being on the other side of the table and having time to look at the contest models. AzTom
  5. I was planning on going Thursday. Will everything be set up that early or would Fri be a better day? AzTom

  9. Here's my set up. an 10' kitchen counter top on two cheap tool boxes. I added a 4in deep shelf to set on top of the back splash. AzTom
  10. Great build, can't wait to see that front axle finished. AzTom
  11. That is the exact system my wife has, only on high speed cable. As mentioned above I did have to up grade the memory because it was getting slow. That said, those photos on The Fox body are a little large @ 1024x768, most forums want them under 600x so dial-up uses can have a chance to see them. I use Fotki and they allow you to set the size for all the photos in that album. AzTom
  12. Welcome, from another Az model guy. I have this AMT parts pack with the Allison engine and hot rod chassis plus a pant load of wheels and drag strip accessories. Email me: tallen97@cox.net AzTom
  13. Now that is too cool! AzTom
  14. Thanks Impcom, Not much progress but hope to get back on it soon. The rear bumper still needs painted but I'm thinking of making a mold from it so I can make a few resin bumpers for other trucks. The front bumper and head lights are painted with alClad chrome. I still need to make the taillight lens and decals for the wood side boards. AzTom
  15. Money spent on a fan that has the motor out of the exhaust is well worth it. Any electrical device has a chance of failure and you do not want that to happen while paint fumes are passing by. This includes light bulbs. A hot incandescent bulb can explode if paint spray comes in contact with it. I have replaced many bath and kitchen fans that have burnt from normal use. Read this and think about paint/thinner passing over the motor. http://www.electrical-forensics.com/Motors/BathroomFans/BathroomFans.html From reading these forums I know several people have used unsafe fans for years but the question you want to ask is, How lucky are you! 16. Nice looking build Chuck. I have always liked that year Fairlane. AzTom
