Using Acrylic Fingernail filler for bodywork
Porky replied to Custom Mike's topic in Tips, Tricks, and Tutorials
Great job on the tutorial. Would have never thought about tryin that, might give it a whirl. We are in Sally Beauty supply from time to time stocking up on sanding boards, they work great on the resin and are about a third of the price there vs the hobby shop. -

Anyone Else Having Trouble With Photobucket ???
Porky replied to Porky's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I think I may have figured it out, still can not get the drop down menu to work on mouse over, but I went in a set it to show the drop down menu all the time and I think that is gona work. Only used about 15%. -
Hey Guys, I have been tryin' to make some posts with some pics of new resin items and I can't get it done. On photobucket when I mouse over the pics the drop down menu with the links to post the pics here will not pull down. I did notice that where I was using about 1/4 of my bandwidth there, now the meter is showing 0 on the bandwidth ??? I am pretty new at posting the pics through photobucket, just wanted to know if anybody else is having the same kinda problem now, something with photobucket or just my account. Thanks for any input.

??? Revell 53/54 Chevy Gasser ???
Porky replied to Porky's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Hey Ron Thanks for the info. I will pass it along. I should be able to hook him up with some wheels and tires from my parts stash so he should be good to go. -
Hey Guys, Have A question. Title pretty much explains it, I have a friend wanting to do a 54' chevy rat rod. I was gona tell him the re-issue of the 53/54 chevy gasser model king has out would work but I noticed that the rear fender wells are hogged out on the box art. I have never had this kit or the older issue of it, so I am not sure if the rear fenders on the kit body are as the box art or stock ??? Another question, dose the kit have the stock front suspension or just the straight axle for the gasser ??? Thanks in advance for the info.

Diggin' Out from over 2ft here !!!
Porky replied to Reliable Resin's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Hey Don, I took a shop vac. rigged the exhaust port with a hepa filter, tape the inlet of the hose on a work bench close to where you are usein' the dremel on the resin and it will suck up 90% or better of the dust, works for me and keeps me right on time with the out going parts. Just a thought. -
I should have been more clear about what I posted, I have nothing against sports. I played baseball, my son is getting into it as well. I love to watch the little ones play and still watch some collage basketball and try to catch all the races I can, really its just the over paid part of the pro ball that grinds me. Like you said I think they could find plenty of people that aint into the mega bucks to play, take the other money and feed alot people. But we all know thats gona happen
-
There was a Superbowl ??? Geezzzz, Now football on the boards. I really thought this was one place I would never have to hear about something sports related Now that you have brought it up, here's my thoughs on it. They are all OVER PAID !!! There is no way, no how you can make me belive that anybody should be paid what any of those guys are. I think they should put a, say 100K to maybe 250K per year pay cap on them, if they want to play for that cool, if not I am sure someone else would.
