    Newest IN my stash is the Revell Build n Play 2015 Mustang kit,but I have a Tamiya Mazda MX5 Miata on order/in-route,I think it's a 2016 (anyone on the year of that?)

    Not today,but Friday I was irked that I went in for a single "simple extraction (tooth) and cleaning,but wound up with unplanned oral surgery and ultimately 6 teeth lighter than when I went in Today what irked me (since I was feeling much better yesterday) was I forget how one feels when recouping from any kinda "major surgery" (doc's words,not mine). Well,at least it's done,and it was free (Friday was a local clinic's annual "Veteran's Free Dental Day")

    Thanks guys I didn't purposely shoot the pics to not show the hood overspray,LOL,but the gleem from the light did cover it nicely I've not been doing as well today as I'd expected based on how I felt yesterday with recouping from the surgery--been in and out of sleep all day for one thing--so I haven't gotten anything else done like I'd planned,but the day is young still Update (12:40am local time),today was a bad day with surgery recouping,didn't so much as walk past and look at the bench today. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day

    Did some prep work over the last week,got the body smoothed of mold lines and such (which weren't overly bad OOB). Had some unexpected oral surgery yesterday which threw a kink in the weekend's plans for bench-time,but I did manage to get the body color on (both Tamiya rattle cans,Racing White and Mica Blue)... The hood and a spot or 2 on the bedsides have a little overspray to clean up,overall I'm happy with the combo though (especially havign shot it >24 hours after surgery,LOL ),I'll try and get that cleaned up and some clear on it tomorrow

    Couldn't resist getting started on this one (kinda lost interest in the Tahoe for now),Aoshima Datsun 720 truck. Will be mostly out of box (I really need to get a finished build on the shelf for motorvation,LOL),but most likely will be using some interior bits from the parts box to change it up a bit. Looks to be apretty simple build,a curbside and most of the chassis is molded in (and molded in black)... Thinking of using these seats/console from an (AMT) S-10 kit,2nd gen...

    As promised... Thinking hard about using these seats and center consol,stock 2nd gen S-10 parts (AMT kit)... The hood and a spot or 2 on the bed needs a little cleanup of overspray before clear is shot,will try and get that (and either chassis or interior) tomorrow sometime

    I had some unexpected oral surgery yesterday* so I'm not up to doing much around the house or getting out to enjoy the beautiful weather today,LOL,but I have been tinkering with the 720 a bit. Got some spray work done (hopefully it turns out ok),and have gone through th eparts box picking some interior bits that I like better,pics later today *I was expecting to have a "simple extraction" of 1 tooth,but turned into surgery and non-simple removing of 6 all on the upper left,so not feeling all that great,LOL

    I almost forgot to post this This was the only pic that cam eout enough to see. All I got done was some body smoothing and initial primer coats shot anyways,LOL

    These came this afternoon (from Japan),wasn't actually expecting them for another month,LOL (and was hoping they wouldn't come on a day teh wife was off work/home when the mail ran...which they did today ),so not complaining

    Cool! I always loved the 620's (and the 521 before them). I barely remember (as I was 3 when he bought it,7 when he sold it,LOL),but my pops bought a new 620 in '76,and owned a string of 521's while I was growing up. Cool project

    Mail-dude brought these rebuilders today,all Lindberg "Big 1/20 Scalers". Needed the Dimes (S10's) after having bought 1 earlier thinking it might have been a Revellogram 1:25 scale (it too turned out to be a Lindberg 1:20),it needed a couple parts if I was to rebuild it,so not having any 1/20 scalers,I was lucky enough to also win these (eBay,same seller,different auctions). I'll try and build 2 nice Dimes out of the 3 The Nissan,well...I'd never seen/built a Nissan Hardbody truck kit,it will eventually be torn down,and rebuilt with a much lower attitdue
