  1. I want to get something straight, I don't mind if you buy a painted body from me and use it in a contest, to me it would be an honor if you did, tells me I must have done something right, right??? I was just concerned about the fuss that could be created by other people. With that said, here is my first effort. It's going for 75.00. Body is free of all mold lines, primed with white primer, airbrushed from a Dupli-Color touch up applicator paint (Chrysler Intense Blue Pearl color) and Cleared w/ Odds and Ends. Wetsanded, polished and waxed thoroughly. I still have to Bare Metal Foil it but would rather wait if buyer opts to do this himself, price is still the same. I will be taking outside pictures later, this color is truly gorgeous if seen w/ true light. Panel lines are re-scribed and made deeper, just makes for a more realistic look. Kit is complete in box with its decals and instructions. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki

  3. Hey, what's up with you and the Station Wagons lately??? Well, they look cool and this one is just sweet!!! How did you like the Krylon Crystal Clear, I have 2 cans of that thing and heard that it's a nice clear to use. Did you shoot it straight out of the can? Does it polish good???
  4. Well, sometimes during our monthly meetings we smack him upside the head, he kinda falls asleep as he is talking to us!!! We thought he was just tired of being the president for so long but we found out that it was just all the time he spends at the bench without any sleep....
  5. I have to take some time out and order these things, have heard great things about them and they look like they come in handy for any job!!
  6. This is cool man, love what you did with the seats and the stickshift!!
  7. Thanks for shaing Lyle, when it comes to these rods, nobody is more creative than you man!!!
  8. As always, phenomenal job, wish I could weather like that. You know, Bill Geary is writing a great tutorial on the basics of model building right here in the forum, you could probably do something like that and school us on your weathering techniques!!! What do you think??? The most important part is the actual pictures and as we all can see, you take some terrific ones. PLEASE PLEASE We know about your recent article on the magazine but it would also be cool to see it here!!
  9. I am sure there are different venues they can rent, why not do that? I don't mind paying 10 dollars for the NNL part of it but 12 bucks for a toy show, freak that!!
  10. Looks cool!!
  11. Not my taste when it comes to these type of cars but I can certainly appreciate the effort you put into this thing, very professionaly done!! I love the look of the tires, looks like you've been around the track for miles!!!
  12. Pictures don't do this build any justice man, this was very cool to see in person, congratulations on a fine job!!!

  15. Thanks Gary! While the Toledo show is very nice, the traveling part of it just turns me off man, I did it once, think I'll keep it at that!!
  16. I remember they sent us home early that day from work, I was on my way to fix a customers phone line. He owned a liquor store and when I walked in, everyone in the place, including some of his customers were looking at the TV with a surprised look in their faces. I knew how serious this was but you know when it really hit me? When the first tower went down.... I lived in NY for nearly 20 years and we did several cable installations in those buildings. It was just a horrible sight to see. I will definitely never forget. I am a big believer in the Bible and God and I know that there are several passages in the Bible that read we must forgive and forget, this one is just too hard to swallow.......

  25. Thanks for the replies fellas, this is something I want to do just to get rid of some models, it is not a full time thing. I guess I will do some painting and foiling and just start posting some stuff here and in the clubs, we will all see how it goes. Thanks again!!
