  2. Looking forward to it my friend. G
  3. Thank You sir! Yes, the wheels will be doomed to spend eternity in the parts box. I believe a build-off is in order. It will be most enjoyable. You might even finish this one................................... G
  4. Ok boys and girls, I want to swap out the generic POS chassis under my Sheriff Roscoe Dodge, but I cannot remember which Mopar chassis folks use. I recall mention of a Road Runner, I believe a '71, but for the life of me cannot recall the details. Born and raised in St Louis, I now suffer fron Anheuser's disease. It is brought on by Clydedales. G
  5. What he said, X2 G
  6. Yup, I'm back to baseball cards, not collecting, just chewing the gum. Not while walking either. G
  7. Oh look! SLFD's Rescue #2. I love that clown Jim, it is perfect. G
  8. Looking good. It will be a killer build. G
  9. Harry Reid was born and raised in Searchlight, Nevada, hence the political reference. Yes that is an actual town. No I am not making this up. G
  10. Todays youth are more into "instant gratification" than us olde farts. The world ran slower for us, not so anymore. I agree that we should match building experience with a kit. If a kid nowadays, remember instant gratification, can't complete the task in a timely manner, they lose interest. We lose a potential master modeler, and the potential future of the hobby, possibly forever. Nothing wrong with any of the suggestions, just take the one that best fits the kid. G
  11. That looks like every fire truck I ever saw................................... G
  12. 1941 Chevrolet, sorry.................................. G
  13. I have a 40 Chevy Pick up that's been sitting forever partially built. I donated the windshield glass, so I believe it will be my kit for this. I'm thinking high desert prospectors truck. This will be my inspiration. G

  15. Very Nice! G
  16. I'm working 10am to 8pm today and tomorrow. I'll be downtown on Fremont Street this weekend, the strip next weekend. I'm off Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays. G
  17. Lots of those out here, they used them in the mines. This would be a great CBP. G

  19. Nicely done! G
  20. I like that, a lot! G
  21. John I was stationed at MCAS Yuma in the mid-late 70's. I had picked up a cherry '76 RoadRunner in Orange just prior to the move. The car had a 360, 2000+ original miles, and should have moved out quite well. It was however a Cali CARB certified POS. I have to say it was one of the slowest cars I ever owned. G
  22. Thank You all! Looking at the photos I realized how "business like" this car looks decked out as a copcar. I'd have been a happy little popo driving one of these back in the day. G
  23. 21-50, 10-4, Over and out. G
