  1. Benny that is flippin' gorgeous. G
  2. All the above. The kits should have a civilian/taxi option as well. It's ok to model a higher trim level as so many departments used them. I think it's easier to sand a good molded level of trim off, than to add something attempting to replicate the original. G
  3. It has all 4 hubcaps, no scratches, dents or dings. Looks clean and well maintained, AND they forgot the "after coffee and donuts" part of the slogan as well. Darn thing is all wrong G
  4. Now that is flippin' sweet! The body looks great and I cannot wait to see what it looks like completed. Notice how the freeway cars had the mickey mouse ears and siren mounted back aways on the roof, as opposed to where the scout cars had them mounted? Any idea why they did that? G
  5. You'd be surprised how an all black 4 door freaks people out on the freeway. I drive a Town Car and folks back down and refuse to pass me. I'll get started on my entry soon. The last two months hasn't been the best of times for me. G
  6. They all scare me........................... G
  7. Nevada, inspection every year whether you need to or not. I find it comical that my '05 Lincoln requires yearly emissions tests, yet I live 110 miles from a nuclear weapon test site. G
  8. Ok smarty pants, what interior do we use eh? G
  9. Serves me right for looking at pics and not reading the text Duh, Wayne. Yes indeed. Don't get hung up on the chrome grill. NYPD has an ungodly number of marked cars and parts get traded all the time. This is most likely not the first time that particular car has had an owee, hence the chrome grill. I wore those boots and breeches for three years James, it means only one thing, and that is not invading Poland. I like the diorama a lot. It captures the feel of the pic well. G
  10. It was a trade off between safety and balance. Counterpoint to that is having the tank aft the cockpit and crushing the pilot in a crash landing. This build is getting better and better. More sir! G
  11. The only issue I see is the figure you have is dressed in a uniform from the '50's-'60's. We ditched the blouse, Sam Browne, and crossdraw holster for everyday wear in the late '60's. The guy in the photo is, I believe from Traffic, hence the boots and breeches. Everything else looks pretty darn good. I can hear it now, " Murphy, there's one darn traffic stanchion in all of lower Manhattan and you hit it. Lad, just how did that happen?" G
  12. Squishy is the technical term! Modelers use the squish technique exactly for that purpose, lessen the need for putty. When you get the squish, you know you have a good solid bond. Good Job! G
  13. Ditto X2 One of my favorite bikes, and riders, of all time. G
  14. F and A beautiful! I so hope this will be in Phoenix in April. I already have the day off (not like last years debacle) and want to see this, and you, in person. G
  15. heheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheh join the insanity girl! G
  16. That's awesome! G
  17. That is superb! Did you spray the root beer over a metallic basecoat like silver or gold? G
  18. That jumps out right at you. Beautiful build, and I love the color. What red did you use? G
  19. Dave? Dave's not here............................................. G
  20. What else could it be? G
