I received the 20 Mule Team kit about 50 years ago. It remains unbuilt, and safely stored away. G

Corporate bean counters account for most of it in my opinion. We took posession of 12 '85 Crown Victorias in the traffic division. All came equipped with what I recall as a 65 watt alternator. Really? Radios, red lights, sirens as well as the car itself powered by that? In what was touted as a "police package"? G

There's writing on the box? Really? G

Yessir that's one purty Azirona hiway car. G

I am not a mechanic, but I am close, oh so close, to sixty and my police career is currently at 32.99 years. Considering I drove a new work car nearly every other year, and have owned quite a few, I feel secure in these comments. The 70's 80's and early 90's proved just how bad the american automotive industry had become. We literally changed makes and models mid year, every year, searching for an acceptable car. Remember we didn't always drive just one car regularly, so I can say with some experience none were all that well liked.The worst seemed to be the Ford Fairmont, and 1979 Ford LTD, not the LTD II. My personal worst was a toss up between a 1975 Plymouth Roadrunner and a 1979 Chevrolet Malibu Classic wagon. Second was a 1999 Suburban. G G

I love it! Look close though, the color pics of the real car have the "speed streaks" facing forward on the driver's side. I find that curious, clone car or not. G

Thanks gents! I just had to get started on this even though I have two other builds well in progress. I'll get some outside pics tomorrow if I can, I start my work week on Wednesday. G

I know I said I'd build the Pan America road car first, but I didn't. G

I'm done. I'll just build what's in the box from now on and never let anyone see the result. Absolutely fantastic. G

Looking good. Remember, in this scale, after shimming and what not, plain old white glue is your friend as a seam filler. G

I normally do not subscribe to the hysteria that prevails upon a new release. Witness my Hudson is still in the box one year later. But......I have been waiting for a 1949/50 Oldsmobile for so long now, when my kits arrived I dove right in. Obligatory engine pics. I do love this kit's engine! Here's my green of choice. (It's what I had on hand. ) First impressions are a mixed bag of "wow I like that" , to "why is there so much flash" and "why are there so many sink marks on a new tool?" And so it begins...................... G

He's holding onto a visibly darker steering wheel in the first shot, and the interior appears dark as well. G

In Clark County Nevada ALL spray paint is locked up. You must be 18 years old to buy it and need to show ID before they open the cage. At least I look my age, even though I don't act it. BTW Harry, 5 cans today, $34.99. G

I received my two yesterday! CHP for one and Pan America road race for the other! G

I ordered one of these and expect delivery soon. I'm anxious to try out that fan tip, any info regarding it's usage? G

Like George, no model is ever thrown out of my house. My daughter has her display in her place as do my sons who are both adults and also on their own. Guys from StLouis and KC will remember my daughter for a long time. She attended all the KC Slammers shows with me for many years. She always brought a recently finished build which clearly surpassed her old man. It got so bad the guys would always ask if she would be attending, and would I be driving? I couldn't have been prouder. She sent me a birthday card recently, and wrote how special it was for her growing up building models with the old man and travelling around. Keep tossing parts at that boy. One day you'll turn around and his build will make you say "What?" G
