Great show. Those can lights, aka "Mickey Mouse ears" are synonomous with the LAPD. They used them exclusively in that fashion for decades. The photo shown with the lights on a bar was strictly for the tv show. Easy removal and on to the next episode of the next cop show. Them were BIG cars! Can't wait to see this one. G

Don's talking polishing, waxing is a whole 'nuther thing. Polishing brings out the gloss in a painted surface by reducing the microscopic hills and valleys. Waxing enhances that which polishing accomplishes. G

NO! Tamiya and MM Acrylics are two completely different beasts. Simply put Tamiya is more of an acrylic laquer whereas MM is a true waterbased acrylic. Paint gurus can expound on this further. G

I dread going on tomorrow. I have 22 pages of Super Bowl prop bets on my desk. After the first play, all bets should have been off. I love the way that wash brought out all that detail. Looking good. I spent the day with my least fave thing to do, roadwheels. Not so many on this panzer thank goodness. Adding details to the lower hull as we speak. Pics to come. G

Oh Mark this is a geat one. It's one of the Cyber Hobby "White Box" Limited Edition kits. I bought this one a couple years ago for asking price, $45, and now they're up to $55+ if your lucky. A friend decided to thin the heard and let me pick up another for $25. I'll be building African panzers all summer! G

Ok we're off! Here's my entry into the build. My "official" starter shots giving time, date and a box full of parts. G

Some of you Arizona folks have met the little guy and have seen just how into this hobby he is. Well I'm real proud of him for the time, energy and all around work he put into this older kit. The paint colors are his choice, it's his build after all, and other than direction he sprayed and brushed everything himself. I did however hold the paintstand (beerbottle) during the body painting. Went to work with red paint all over my left hand and arm. Decals were applied in one long session pre stupidbowl yesterday. Some parts were left over, he said it just makes the car go faster. G
