  1. I thought about that but I couldn't come up with a good way to make it work. I doubt anybody would see them any way. ...dang it! I should have just said "Yeah, I did that, you just can't see them in the picture." Thanks for your comment Bob David G.
  2. Nicely done! Love the color. David G.
  3. A little progress: Over the past couple weeks I've been able to get a bit of work done as time and energy have permitted. I did some detail painting on the engine bay (inner fender well?) panels and knocked it together with the interior for a test fit. I built a 6-volt battery. Using the 12-volt battery that was in the kit, I filed off the six filler caps, sanded down some styrene rod to a proper looking diameter, drilled three appropriate sized holes then glued the rod into them and filed the the new filler caps level. The caps are colored with a red Sharpie. This is a test fit of the interior and engine bay panels. Looks like I'll have make some adjustments. Thanks for looking, and as always, please feel free to comment. David G.
  4. Hello Niko. Thanks, I'm glad you like it. I bought the tires at the Desert Scale Classic a couple of years ago, they were packaged as a set of four tires. I think they were originally meant to be off-road truck tires, but I'm not certain. Here's a close up of the remaining two tires that may help you identify them to track down a set. Thanks again, David G.

  9. The color variations were something created by the manufacturer to sell more units and had nothing to do with the Ghost Busters movies or cartoons, or anything else that I know of. I would probably (prolly) never build a pink Batmobile or a yellow and blue USS Enterprise, there are those who would, and that's fine. I'm just not one of them. I have nothing against "Diversity", I'm a stickler for "real life". David G.
  10. Ohhh I thought it was a close-up of the small one. My mistake- sorry if that comment came across as less than nice. Now that I understand what I'm looking at, Excellent Job! Obviously a great match on the color. David G.
  11. Nice work so far. I like the paint effect on the bags. These little bits that many people wouldn't "see" go a long toward building realism. David G.
  12. Wow, that's actually fairly well done. Too bad it's not painted white. David G.
  13. Thanks Kevin, I like the way it came out too. David G.
  14. Thank you Carl. David G
  15. Thanks Donald. That was built early in my return to the hobby. I didn't have the confidence with Bare Metal, nor did I have an airbrush then. I may build another one of these someday. This time I would, of course, use BMF and paint it in Ford Orchid Gray. David G.
  16. Thank you Ron, A lot of people would, me included. But man were they S. L. O. W. David G.
