On the stock Bugs, the seatbelt mounting points were on the transmission tunnel near the handbrake and on the bottom of the B pillar on the body. Great looking buggy! The extra engine detail looks great. David G.

I finally got a couple of pics of the AMT 62 Buick ready to post This is the first one that I painted with my airbrush. I used a purple base coat with translucent silver on top of that followed by clear. I just couldn't get a good shine on it though. I used the "lowered" setting for the rear axle and raised the front just a touch for an old school low rider look. Shaving the door handles and most of the trim helped complete the look. Thanks Danno! I may do that next time... if I'm not scheduled to work that day. Thanks, I was told that based on the lack of a firewall and the simplified engine, that it's most likely an old AMT kit. Thanks to everybody else for all the kind words. I remembered that I also finished am AMT 62 Buick this year. I'll try to get some pics posted soon. David G.
