Here's a quick update. Exhaust pipes before and after. Now that the mid section and exhaust pipes have been stretched, it's time to shorten the tail by about 6 scale inches. I've cut the shortened section from the other donor car frame. Time to put them together. After some filing, shimming and filling, it's done. I just need to do the final smoothing and blending. Yup, that's what I meant. With a stronger or more direct light source light coming through the windows, you could achieve a "shafts of sunlight" effect. Sort of like a late afternoon- end of the work day at the ol' shop. Either way, it's still awesome work you do! David G.

Over the weekend I found another pink 59 Cadillac donor car and spliced the two frames together. I'm currently working on blending them into one (hopefully) seamless chassis. As always, any comments, critiques or suggestions are welcome. Thanks for looking. David G.

Looks good! The hood reminds me of the custom fiberglass hoods that wewr popular back in the late 70's and early 80's. They would often be left in a perpetual primer state. David G.

Thanks! I have tried that grille. It's just a bit too small, which is a bit of a bummer since it's it's nicer than the Ecto-1 grille. I have, however cut the center section from the rear bumper of the car to use in place of the step bumper on the hearse. I've been thinking of doing something similar with the front grille and bumper assembly. I just haven't worked out a good way to do it yet. David G.

I think I'm going to build mine with glass all the way around. I plan on building a roller deck and casket for the cargo are and I'd like for all of that to be seen. Also, I noticed in the picture of the wagon you're building, there are cut-outs on the right quarter panel. Mine has the cut-outs on the left quarter panel. What kit is yours from?
