  1. No, I'm afraid this one will be in traditional black. Interesting idea though. David G.
  2. Thanks for all the feedback. I'd thought about building a side-loader... for about thirty seconds. If I did that, I'd have to open the doors, otherwise, what would be the point? I will open the hood, though. The front seat proportions are a bit off, so it's going to have to go. The ugly seat is gone, now I've got to find a replacement. As far as the cargo area, I'll probably rebuild most of it. Here's my donor kit, a Monogram 1959 Pink Cadillac built by somebody else. I found it a few years ago at a swap meet. That's all for now. As always, feedback and input is always welcome. Thanks for looking. David G.
  3. I've decided to use the Monogram Pink Cadillac I picked up at a swap meet as a donor. Looks like I'm going all-out on this one. I've already cut the frame from the car so I can stretch it to fit under the hearse. I'll try to get some pics up later. David G.
  4. Congrats! It's well worht the effort! David G.

  11. I bought two of the Ecto 1-A kits; one to build as the Ecto 1 and this one to convert back into a hearse. Smoothing the roof... More to come later. Thanks for looking. David G.

  21. Looks good! Subtlety is the key, minor variations in tone and color can make a big difference. You may want to add a bit of dust and dirt in the form of pastels- shades of black, tan and grey. I built this Mustang a few years ago and weathered it as if it had seen just a few years of regular service. I used paint washes and artist's pastels. You're off to a good start! Research and look at pictures online to fill your mind with the natural patterns of dirt and rust that occur as chassis age and soon this will be second nature to you. David G.
  22. Excellent work on every level! David G.
  23. I made all the junk in this interior. Most everything was printed on my home printer from pictures of logos and packages lifted from the internet. A little creativity and a decent photo editing program and printer can go a long way. David G.
