  1. I'm thinking about entering a few models in the contest this year, but I can't stay all day. What time does the judging usually happen? David G.
  2. The work related sites I need to use only support Explorer, and I'm not inclined to use multiple browsers. Explorer's not all that bad, it's just annoying sometimes. David G. I'll try that. Thanks for the tip! David G.
  3. I'm afraid that I use Explorer, and I'm liking it less with each update. Thanks for the tip though, David G.
  4. I'd like to know if there is a way to shut off the animated avatars. I've looked at the forum settings, and have been unable to find a way to do so. I know many web pages allow one to right-click on animated images or streaming videos and disable them, but that doesn't seem to be the case here. Currently, my solution is to hold my left hand over that portion of the screen so I can read the text. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks, David G.

  12. I've been thinking about making a hearse from a Dodge Magnum wagon. Seeing how you're making your conversion is quite educational. Looks good so far! David G.
  13. I made some interior panels for the Revell kit I built. I just cut some sheet styrene from card stock templates I made, scribed a groove where the trim strip was to go and painted them. The trim strip is just pieces of wire I got from some twist ties and the arm rests I carved from laminated styrene. Easy Peasy! David G.
  14. I honestly don't care what happens to my material posessions when I leave this life. I've already built several kits for friends and family to enjoy while I'm still here. After I'm gone, if anybody can use or get enjoyment from anything I've accumulated, great! If not, it's only stuff. David G.

  19. I usually use the macro setting, step back 3 to 4 feet, zoom in a moderate ammount and, using Photoshop, crop the image down to just a little larger than the subject. If your camera has a high enough resolution, you can even get quality shots of smaller details like wheels and license plates by cropping your image accordingly. David G.
  20. Man, that is a LOT of work! Your detail is awesome! David G.
