  1. Ok, I'm calling "Fakeout" on this one. Something about it just makes me think it's a Photoshop job. To me the wheels and the body seem to be at two different resolutions... The wheels seem to be just a bit crisper than the body.
  2. Very nice, the interior detail and chassis weathering are excellent! David G.
  3. Excellent work! More than just a model, it's an exhibit! David G.
  4. I had a '71 Ventura with the same power set-up. I remember that distinctive whirring hum made by the timing gears when the engine idled. Excellent work on this one, particularly the chasssis and engine details. David G.
  5. That is some good looking custom work. There's a lot of visual activity, but not too much, good balance. David G.
  6. I want to build one of these too! Excellent work so far, Brian! Keep us posted. David G.

Excellent work on what I hear is a rather challenging kit. Very Cool! My LHS has one of these in stock, I should just break down and buy it. David G.
  8. Very cool! (Don't listen to Harry, I like the stripe!) David G.
  9. Very nice, the paint looks great! David G.
  10. Here's mine, She's a Shepard-Chow mix named Harley. Harley-Barley, Slayer of Plush Toys. David G.
  11. I can almost smell the rust and dirt on this one. The basket is a nice touch too. David G.
  12. That must be a great feeling, congratulations!
  13. You're off to a very good start on this one. It'll be fun to see where you end up with it.
  14. Great looking build, nice color combination. I've got to get me one of these. David G.
  15. I think I see a valve stem on one of the wheels... Do these guys actually put air in these tires? If they do, why bother?
  16. Tail Fins... hee hee hee. I'm sorry, I just like tail fins, they make me giggle.
  17. Aaaaahhhhh... corn. I thought, "Why would he disk a field without pulling out the bean poles?" But corn, that makes sense. Excellent diorama. Great looking tractor, nice detail and weathering. Regards, David G.
  18. I made mine with the plastic tubes from two cotton swabs. I found some styrene tubing that fit nicely over the tubing from the cotton swabs and I cut it to the length I wanted and rounded the ends. After sticking the two together, I flared and angled the inlet and outlet pipes, painted and weathered them. The brass item is the driveshaft. I had lengthen it because I lifted the rear of the car. Since I made them with workbench scraps, I don't have any specific information on the materials I used. Hopefully, this will give you one more idea to work with. Regards, David G.
  19. Things are things and like you said, they can be replaced. But the break-in part, that's one of the worst feelings there is. My sympathies. David G.
  20. The blue is much nicer than the red. Keeper rollin' David G.
  21. Looks like they're all set to shoot the next Viagra TV ad. A couple of nice builds. When you get the camera functions worked out, maybe you could post some engine bay and chassis shots of the car. Regards, David G.
  22. World class work. You could pass this off as an actual late '50s Ford concept model. One question, though. Is there enough space behind the front fender skirts to steer the front wheels? I'll take my answer off the air, thanks. Either way, it sure is a beautiful build. Regards, David G.
  23. Maybe he builds only for himself and isn't interested in impressing others with his skills. David G.
