  1. Very nice! Excellent paint work & good color choice.
  2. slantasaurus, Thanks for the engine pics. They'll be very helpfull when I try to make that pile of body panels and misc. parts into a model car.
  3. It turned out great! I love the color combination.
  4. I think that actually is rain forest up there. The only one in North America, I believe. It sounds like a beautiful place, adding the trains to a setting like that could only make it better. Thanks again for sharing the pics. Regards, David G.

  6. OK, I'll be watching this one.
  7. These new, modern hair care products can give anybody shinier, more managable hair! I love these old Monster kits, and you did a great job on this one!
  8. Lookin' good! What kind of wire are you using for your brake & fuel lines?
  9. Looks like a cool project, I can't wait to see how it turns out.
  10. Is anybody here losing sleep over the demise of Pontiac? Probably not. Is the loss of Pontiac a big deal? Not really. There's not much in life that is a big deal, but there are things that have at least some emotional relevance. There are also events and occurrences that mark our passage through life. We tend mark and measure our lives with such mileposts as, "Before I turned 21." and "After we bought the house." It is in our nature to make note of such events. And in a community that has gathered for the purpose building, promoting and discussing model cars, I would honestly be more surprised if the discontinuation of a major American automotive name plate passed without comment or note. No, it's not a big deal, but neither was the World Series, and I guess there are still some folks talking about that too. Regards, David G.
  11. Another knock out! Excellent work, Felix!
  12. It looks like a soda fountain attachment, or something that might be seen in an "olde tyme" barbershop!
  13. Brian, I love your Williams BNSF pics. The cold gray rainy drizzle reminded me of Autumn in NE Ohio- kinda made me homesick. I saved a couple snaps in my screen saver slideshow, I hope you don't mind. Regards, David G.
  14. Truly, a thing of beauty!
  15. Clean and tight. Excellent work!
  16. The chassis and engine look great, and the body's coming along nicely.
  17. Sooo... what do you do with it now?
  18. What you've done so far looks great. I love the added fin and thruster. Early Corvettes really lend themselves to this type of build, I chose a '57 gluebomb for mine. I hope to get some pics posted soon.
  19. Looks to be a fun build. Sadly, back when this movie was made in the '70s, that Mustang was probably considered just an old disposable junker. In the movie still, there's a "Ford" script prism tape decal on the front fender... Dude, I had one of those stickers back in the '70s!
  20. Decals and paint are great, the whole car really looks "race ready."
  21. First Oldsmobile, then Pontiac, my two favorite GM badges, gone. My first car was a '71 Ventura and I have a '71 Delta 88 Town Sedan in my garage.
  22. Aww, c'mon?! Really? I guess back before the days of accepted standard practice, there were all sorts of creative solutions to common problems.
  23. I saw Rail Gun and thought Gauss Cannon. I know they're not technically the same thing, but... Still, a very nicely detailed scratchbuild! Just not exactly the type of rail gun I was imagining.
  24. That's a pretty shade of blue, it works nicely with the black fenders and wood bed.
