  1. No shortage of any kits in the Spokane WA market.
  2. Revell did 1962 Dart 440 and Valiant four doors in styrene. Modelhaus has a 1970 Coronet four door in resin. R&R Resin has a 67 Plymouth four door in resin - not sure of model, I'll have to check and amend my list. I have been researching plastic and resin kits of four door and wagon models (slowly building a list) and don't have any record of any other four door B bodies. There is Johan's 68 Fury four door - but I don't think that was still a B body in 68?
  3. Yes, Milliput is two parts.

Nice, smooth, clean build. The background is making me dizzy though. I, too, like seeing some imports posted here. For the most part, they are few and far apart - and usually slide pretty fast down the threads line up.
  5. Looks solid and clean. What brand of paint did you use? While by no means a shortcut to great paint jobs, there are some products that produce better finishes easier than others. You will still need patience and the basics, but you won't be handicapping yourself. Try Tamiya or Duplicolor paints on top of a good primer. Don't bother with Model Master enamels in the spray cans. Keep building, though, and read through a lot of threads here and you'll continue to learn and improve.
  6. I am on the fence on this kit - any chance you could post sprue shots in the review section - and specifically tire and wheel shots?
  7. Looking at pictures of the RG 427 - it looks like the distributor is located a little to far to the driver's side of the block? Also, the Ford emblem on the cover looks small and, as stated above, no "427 SOHC"? It also appears the AMT valve covers have the Ford emblem too large and they do appear to be on the small side. My 66 Fairlane had the SOHC robbed before i bought it, so... Anybody have pictures of the Johan valve covers?
  8. I too would like to see a 500c - the new Fiatwith the opening top. Fujimi does the 500 in a number of liveries but they are quite pricey. The one that puzzles me is the Mini. A new tool? Is ROG just going down a list of Tamiya kits and making new tools of kits already available (ie Citroen 2CV)? I will be interested to see how it differs as I am a fan of 60s mini cars.
  9. Ron - are your multi piece wheels cast in resin too (EW5-S)? They look like metal in the photos. They also look cool. Thanks - I'll be checking out some of the engine parts too - neat stuff. Erik
  10. Nice work so far - cool little car. You definitely need to find a set of wheels from the Fujimi 356 (as Mike pointed out) - they are a perfect match for the real car (they look like it to me): Here is a crappy, blurry photo of one - tried casting them but so far haven't been able to get anything good. they also have nice, finned brake drums.
  11. Very nice build. The addition of the Tichy bolts for lug nuts really helped the wheels.
  12. I have looked at the RG 427 but didn't think it looked any better than the AMT Willys - I am no expert though. Out of curiosity - and never having built the particular kit - does the Model King Kenz and Leslie Cougar have a 427 sohc? Couldn't quite tell from the box I was looking at today at the LHS.
  13. I agree with Dave - the first two photos, while great for the details, appear to off in white balance or something - see how the red on them looks, well, not really red? It looks kind of purplish - which I would assume is from the pictures being exposed adjusting for light other than daylight. In Dave's photo the red is red and you can see the color of the block - which appears to be pretty much gold. I haven't built mine yet, but I would go with MM gold?
  14. Please stop posting things like this. No, really, your making me yearn for things I don't need.
  15. Never knew that. Thought it was something to do with aluminum or anodized.
  16. WIP - work in progress
  17. I am on the same page. What's the point of posting a WIP with no pictures?
  18. Beautiful, really.
  19. PM sent on the air cleaner.
  20. I use masking tape, tacky stuff (for holding posters up), or, rarely white glue. White glue (Elmer's) is water soluble so you can just get the joints wet and the glue will come apart. I am not an expert builder though, so.....
  21. Depends on context - I would guess Replicas and Miniatures Company of Maryland if dealing with aftermarket. Revell/Monogram if dealing with kits.
  22. Looks like a chubby piglet.
  23. Nice build. That engine looks awesome.
  24. Nice to see your first post is a picture of a model! Looks like a nice, clean build. I like the color choice too.
