  1. Found one on Amazon if you're willing to pay $50 for it. On the bright side, it will last for years! https://www.amazon.com/Pledge-Floor-Finish-Gloss-27/dp/B002YC438C/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=future+acrylic+floor+finish&qid=1670705925&sr=8-2 Oh, and here's the Quick Shine for a much better price! https://www.amazon.com/Quick-Shine-Multi-Surface-Finish-Polish/dp/B007TSJLCE/ref=sr_1_6?keywords=future+acrylic+floor+finish&qid=1670705925&sr=8-6
  2. Look for Pledge Revive It Floor Gloss. Same stuff.
  3. I like the longest bed because it balances the cab well.
  4. From here it looks like you have plenty to be proud of. Nice looking mild custom!
  5. Looks like you still got it! Nicely done.
  6. Perfect build. The weathering is top notch!
  7. Very cool! For some reason I especially like the spilled gas detail. Looks real!
  8. Just hit the Hobby Lobby in Waco. Pretty decent selection of kits at 40% off, no coupon required. I got a Revell Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, an MPC 78 Dodge pickup for cheap, and I also picked up a couple of Revell 29 Roadsters which they now have at list price of 39.99. I won't be buying new kits at that price. Tomorrow is last day of the sale. For now.

    First Diorama

Wow, sign me up! I'm all about easy and cheap.
  10. This. Basically new in box. 1983 issue. Not everyone's cup of tea, but I'm strangely drawn to these old bike kits. Unfortunately this one smells like the bottom of an ashtray. The cardboard and paper soaked up the odor badly. The plastics - not too bad. I set it out in the weak sun that we had today and it seemed to help. Wiped off the box with a towel dampened with Windex and that helped a bit too. I burned the box it came in. Any other suggestions for odor removal?
  11. Can't say for sure on the 40, but many cars of that era didn't really have the wheels well centered. I don't think the design engineers really cared that much. I had a 48 Chevy Aerosedan that had a problem with the rear wheels and my 54 F100 had the same with the front wheels. The solution in both cases was aftermarket springs that had relocated pins for the spring perches. I had planned to install Posies "down and forward" springs for the F100 before I sold it.
  12. Really crisp work there! I'd drive that.
  13. Welcome aboard, Steve! You have some great retirement plans! I'd like one of those Trans-Ams, but I'm about out of room...maybe the kitchen cabinets over the refrigerator where my wife can't reach....
  14. Selling that garbage is criminal. It's not fit for a junkyard diorama.
  15. This reminds me of the old Corvette "wagon" conversions in the 70s.
  16. That's a ...tire?
  17. Nice! Good color scheme - looks like stock Mopar colors. I have this kit and am anxious to get stated on it.
  18. These rigs were all three doors as I recall. Here's mine from years ago. Note that this is a GMC
  19. Here's the ticket: https://www.amazon.com/ARROWMAX-Electric-Aluminium-Rechargeable-SDS/dp/B0B3MPZ11B?th=1
  20. Usually not a fan of box art but this I Iove!
  21. I like both looks, before and after! Looks like I have one of these to build. That, and a couple Big Tubs, A Big T or two, some Lindberg model T variations, etc...yes I'm a hoarder.
  22. Wik-kid!
