  1. Cool project....nice stuff in the background too...
  2. Very nice builds guys...
  3. Cool old photos.....! I too would like to build replicas of the family owned vehicles but most would be a pain to find...bummer.
  4. Welcome Bobby..! Its in the right section...LOL.. Were glad to have you with us....there are a lot of great helpful people here.
  5. Freddy....Thank you..! I have a coupe of large dioramas I want to build soon as I can find what is needed to... 60s Gas station with service bay and pumps...would need to find the MRC gas station kit to use as a starting base. Car dealership with showroom ether late 60s or around 1970 era.
  6. Turbine engine....COOL...!....
  7. Jeff... I have used it for years now...you do need to wear gloves its hard on the skin. You also do not want it to dry on the plastic I have had ill effects when this happens. I use mine straight out of the jug in a plastic bread container...its about perfect for most bodies, etc. I have had it help loosen glue joints before but not often. After time it will get weak and need changed I found too.
  8. Sad to say it but there are some people in my town that I am amazed they can figure out how to breathe....
  9. I think there is someone that offers a 6cyl for that time period but cant remember who..?
  10. very nice work..! I dig the tires too.
  11. I agree Jeff but it was a nice suggestion Bill made. You have the same problem I do...need to find straight 6cyls for Ford/Chevy of the 60s and 70s era. Kind of hard to do factory stock with a V-8 in something that wouldn't have one for its model.
  12. I did one of a 64 Chevy pickup that was warped badly...its under the light commercial thread in the trucks section probably the second page. It was my first attempt at one too...was fun.
  13. VERY NICE...! I use to own a 75 TA....would love to be able to make a replica of it someday.
  14. Freddy...nice job...nice to see one that might not have been able to be restored have another chance to be something.
  15. Jeff...the original 64 Chevelle/Malibu wagon had one in it. I have the same problem with many of mine too.
  16. Same from me...hope you all have a safe night and a better year to come.
  17. Jeff... I have a huge batch I need to get restored that were my dads. Finding the needed parts is a huge slow task...I hope to be able to get a few of them done this winter or soon...hope.
  18. Shes a 61 for sure...its the only year they had that nose.
  19. I cant remember for sure but it was ether the Ertl International 4070A or the Kenworth Challenge mixer kit...both were pretty close to being one of the first 1 to 4 I built as a kid.
  20. Ted...the finger nail files or emery boards are great too...use them all the time.
  21. Jeff there in good hands now....I think its great your keeping them as they were and saving them for the future...some things are worth more than gold.
  22. RIP Lemmy.
  23. Dan....I like it..!......very cool idea buddy. It kind of reminds me of those Aulstrialian vehicles which I like.
