  4. AWESOME...! I love the truck/trailer combo...my mom once owned a 68 Fury wagon where did you get it?
  5. Me too Scott....Id be happy for a factory stock model or promo of a 70 NewYorker.
  6. I agree Dave...there is a lot to be happy about over the last few years in re-issued kits and all new ones. It all basically boils down to what a builder likes in the end...me if I find it interesting or I am bored Ill build anything. Me I grew up in the 60s and 70s era...to me those are the hey days of models and promos just because I like them so much both for their subjects and style of kit. It never bothered me if a kit was a curbside or full detailed glue kit they all build up into nice models. I am just happy they are listening to us and trying to bring the ones we all want back for us all.
  7. It wasn't my fault officer....the building ran right out in front of me....
  8. X 3 Scott and Mike.... kids these days ear too busy with video games to build many models. Some of the hot rod and cartoonish kits are not worth the effort to build them for me with the exception of the Monogram show rod series by Tom Daniels design. Me give me a very late 50s through 70s car/truck any day curbside or not...Id love to see these make a comeback somehow...... early to mid 70s Dodge vans window, cargo, custom 58,59,64,66-69 Bonnevilles and 70 HT 69-72 Grand Prix 65-70 Cadillac Coupe/sedan DeVilles 68,69,71,72,73 Impala/Caprice 60,65 and up Mercury Parklanes 61-70 Olds 88,Dynamic,Cutlass,F-85 60-69 Falcons other 60s station wagons and 4 doors that have not been re-issued yet 71,72 Pontiac Sprint II 75 Firebird or TA 65-69 Lincoln HTs or sedans 67-69 T-birds 64-68 Chrysler/Dodge Manaco,Imperial,300s 61,63-69 Buick Skylark,Invicta,Electra,Wildcat 67,68 Ford Galaxie 59-63 Ford pickups 70s Chevy open road camper van/window van Tyrone Malone Super Boss drag truck ERTL blueprint series trucks/farm tractor kits We can dream right?....LOL... But to each their own style of builds and kits...all can be a enjoyable build.
  9. I have a couple of builds I want to do for loads or trailers....need to find the stuff first though.... Flatbed with a load of crushed cars(no good ones or kits will be hurt in the process using only junk damaged ones) Mobile home with full interior 60s rig with a Revell auto transporter trailer with a load of new 60s cars going to the dealership car crusher trailer carnival attraction ride trailer
  10. Rick I too would love to be able to get my hands on some from the past that have not seen the light of day in over 30 years like the old AMT/MPC annuals of the 60s and 70s era. I will build the cartoonish kits from time to time or show rods by Monogram but my heart and main intrerest in the old annual kits rather they are curbsides or not...with the few that have been re-issued maybe there going to bring more of them back for us...we can only hope and dream of them till they do.
