  1. Welcome Hector... ....best advise anyone ever gave me on building is to treat every part as if it were a model itself...makes them look great when done. Start with a easy build and work your way up its the best teacher.
  2. Looks pretty cool to me... . Mine had the left to right rectangle taillights 71 to 76 body style years. We also use to own these Id like to build someday... 71-76 Dodge van cab motor home 71,72 Dodge window van
  3. Great score Mark...! I had one of those as a kid loved it...! Built mine turbine powered.
  4. Another 5 would be... ERTL International farm tractor AMT KW Challenger mixer 71-76 Dodge van kits by MPC Johan 65-66 Chrysler 300s Johan snap series kits
  5. Oh that is COOL...! I also like the dodge van in the background....been looking for a 71-76 Dodge van kit to build like the old one I use to own years ago it was a factory custom.
  6. I have these... 63 Galaxie convertible...glass and post gone. 61 Ford wagon...body,glass,bumpers shot. 63 Galaxie 2door HT square roof...body shot. got to restore these someday. I have had a lot of them with warped or crazed bodies...some beyond belief. I am always looking for more and some of the snap or promo like ones Johan,Hubley,AMT made.
  7. That is cool...I dig it..! great weathering...!
  8. What should be....you know they would sell... 69 Impala HT 68 Bonneville HT 69 Bonneville HT 70 Bonneville HT 69 or 70 Grand Prix What should not be.... Dukes Charger glue kit....might as well come in a box of cereal they have been out so much. 57 Chevy Nomad kits....I think everyone has at least 1 or 2 sitting. 78 Dodge van kit....to me its just too ugly...needs to be restored to the 71 to 76 years body styles tell me those would not sell. 63 Impala kit....done so many I am bored with them...think others might be too even though its a good kit. 62 Chevy HT....same reasons....its been re-issued too much lately. Just my thoughts...I am sure others might feel differently?
  9. Not to my knowledge but someone might???...my mom owned a 69 Impala wagon and my dad had a 69 2door HT...love to build those.

  14. I am totally amazed with this build....simply awesome work...now if we could just get a kit of it in 1/25th or 1/24rth scale....

  19. Very cool idea....looks very promising cant wait to see more progress...
  20. Bill that is true but some go on like there trying to sell you something. Knowledge from others is priceless and experience is the best teacher with a little help from others...I learn something new everyday form others. I have had to deal with too many that were very very book smart but when faced with the real thing were lost...kind of makes one a bit leery of them....no one can know everything but many have much to share.
  21. I picked up a Revell Meecdes Benz Uni-Mog truck kit with salt spreader and plow at a second hand store....its missing the tires and wheels... anyone got any for it?
  22. I agree... I learned a lot from the parts on instruction sheets about real cars too. Around the age of 14 I started working on real ones and learned more about them.
  23. Yes... What is their purpose?....Why would one need to? Me I know a little about some things and am a expert in nothing....
