I have tried for years to get one of these...just because its cool and different but they always have gone way to high...Id leave it just as is. And yes any long roof cars are always welcomed...we need more wagons other than the 65,66 Chevelles and 55,56,57 Chevys.

Shay...I believe its the same as the old Johan issued ones its a curbside if its like the last one re-issued.

I am happy to see this coming back out...just hope they have the last issues tire and wheel problems fixed. Be great to see more of the old kits make a comeback that have not seen the light of day in over 30 years.

Bryan....I use brake fluid...when that does not work I use Castrol Super Clean de-greaser straight(use of gloves is a good idea its hard on the hands and never let it dry on anything)...both will remove chrome plating..carefully use a tooth brush to gently scrub the old paint off...I wash after cleaning with warm to hot soapy water let air dry.

I have one should have gotten two....there very nice! A camper top would be awesome...I have the Chevy Mini Motor Home kit all the camper parts and interior camper parts are missing...love to build it.

I have always worried when spray painting over decals or not...sometimes it all just goes bad on you. Could be worse though....I worked on a conversion of a 2door into a 4door wagon once everything was going good till the second coat of clear...body wrinkled up all the long hours of bodywork gone so i just started over and liked it the second time came out good. There are a lot of very kind people here willing to help out another at the drop of a hat if they can.

I am wanting to build a replica of my old mid 70s Dodge custom van I once owned...want the doors to open and close so the interior can be seen but still look right once the doors are closed...
