Joe...I use Castrol Super Clean de-greaser straight or use just brake fluid to clean mine. Sometimes it might take awhile on a few here and there but they have never failed to remove old paint...although if the solution is old and been used for quite some time you might need to start with a fresh batch.
VERY NICE WORK!!!....just beautiful! I love the Johan kits....one I need parts for is the hearse(body, glass, long side landau bars, rear door,etc.)Ed. Very nice clean build!!!!!!
That is a strange thing for tires to do...usually they just melt into the body or glass of kits?....if they do that finding a set with wheels wont be easy.
Very cool...nice wheels and slicks! The Tom Daniels kits were always cool to me...bad thing is the ones I want to find I had as a kid are rare or too expensive...like the (Un-Real Roller),(Mean Maverick),(Super Digger rail),etc.
Another great combo kit was the(Ford Modified team set)--early 70s Ford pickup--car trailer--early Ford dirt track car.
Aquarod Boat race team--Chevy van--drag/speed boat and trailer.
