The guys have given you some great advise on checking into the water problem...everyone has a boss just go over their heads. Get all your dads stuff in a dry place to protect them from any further damage...nice kits by the way. I have has problems with my neighbor of 14 years they just turned into real major pains...but I'm getting even too by just giving them too much of what they want...LOL...my grass gets cut every other day...early...LOL!... You could put/build some run-off channels to divert the flow of water to help or maybe control what happens???
MPC made dealer promos of the 70,71,72,73 Firebird Formula 400s with that hood too....me Id like to get a hold of a 75 Trans Am or Formula to build my old 75 TA I once owned...she was a real beast loved that car!
I built this kit years ago as an annual issue liked it they also had a Pacer wagon kit...Thanks Round 2 for the new reissues coming out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We joined the computer age about 10 years ago and really still learning...but it has given me many great friends at distances with the same interests as me...very happy to have them.
Nice models... I have no problem what so ever with the metal axle kits...love them myself much better than a sagging plastic one or wheel pin. I also like the curbside ones too...they are what you make of them.
Hi Kevin... It looks like ether bead sealer or just the soap mixture they used to mount the tire to me and is nothing to worry about in my opinion...I mounted tires for 20 years seen a lot of stuff before. You can probably remove the stuff with a wet SOS pad or wire brush with bleach white tire cleaner...hose off the tire afterwards with a garden hose. Hope this helps some. Mark
I have one of the Road Warrior kits and plan to convert it into the first movie car that is tough enough in itself but cant imagine what making it factory stock would take to do...but good luck with it...would be cool to see love the Aussie cars/trucks.
Mine was my old 75 Trans Am that was built to the hilt. 400ci-0.30 over sized pistons, huge cam, balanced, ram air heads and exhaust manifolds from a earlier TA...miss that car....been looking for one in plastic ever since.
I have the same one but was the kit..needs glass and I already repaired one post would be GREAT if they could get reissued...specially along with the 64 Bonneville.
