  1. Me...I pretty much stick with 1/25th or 1/24rth scale but have been wanting to try some large scale stuff lately just to see what all added detail I can put into one.
  2. Thanks for the information Russell....I think there cool but id bet they were top heavy.
  3. Stunning build...! Love the weathering and rear tires used on it.
  4. Is there any news from the other companies...????
  5. Wayne...have you tried PM ing him..? Hope you can get a hold of him.
  6. Welcome Vukan...! Ask anything here related to the life...there are many very kind people on here always willing to help out if possible. The 60s and 70s were my favorite years of modeling...the best kits were made back then in my opinion...your lucky.
  7. Its those dang Gremlins...they must be building something cool with all those parts somewhere..?
  8. That is cool....anyone remember the plastic badges the MPCs use to come with..?
  9. I have dropped parts and never found them after years...even after several times cleaning up the place...?...your not alone in this crazy boat.
  10. What a great way to spend the day Vince.
  11. I like that long bed Ford pickup. Here is some others that would be great to see back on the shelves for us all again....we can only dream or hope they might someday... 73-76 Dodge vans/long bed pickups stock 71/72 Mercury Cyclone Revell..please give us the Un-Real Roller..LOL 68/69 Dodge Coronet R/Ts 67 Chevy pickup 65/66 Dodge Monaco stock 66-69 Ford Falcons 68/69/70 Bonneville HTs 69-72 Grand Prix 71 Pontiac Sprint II The AMT early modified Ford race team set...pickup/trailer/even without the dirt track car. Id think any of these would be good for sale figures...?
  12. Welcome..!
  13. Great story on it Troy. Like me...my dads old ones are so important to me they will be in the family for many years to come rather i can get them restored or repaired or not. I also have a few Id love to find again from my childhood days I once had...maybe someday..?
  14. I agree with Steve. Most my builds are factory stock but not all are. Still I try to be or look realistic as possible unless I get a wild idea for a build..LOL..
  15. Yep Dan that is it...very cool and very rare truck...the top has too many other possibilities too. Mike...another idea could be a raised camper roof for van kits like the old AMT Chevy Open Road Mini Motorhome kit had...I have one from my dads old collection missing the top parts and interior camper goodies.
  16. Mike...if one can find a 73 Chevy sales brochure one their trucks it shows the Blazer camper one...(I have one somewhere ?) Any 60s/70s camping trailer would be very cool to have available in my opinion there a neglected item to build in plastic kits. Another is a scale 60s/70s phone booth for dioramas. Me..id welcome campers to add to our builds and collections.
  17. Welcome George...!
  18. Mike....How about a top to convert the Chevy Blazers into the ones that had in the early 70s into a overhead camper..? Or how about camping trailers..????
  19. I have many sentimental ones....my dads old ones I am hoping to restore once the needed parts are found for them. The Monogram Un-Real Roller...built one as a kid and would love to have another someday..even just the box would be good.
  20. Size in comparison to the kits is an issue for me too...they have to look right for the scale tow vehicles. if i could find enough camper/custom van interior and exterior parts id try to scratch build a few of my own camper trailers and motorhomes...there a overlooked possible kits to sell I think they would sell pretty well myself.
  21. WOW....that is very nice..!
  22. Maybe it will be something from all of our wish lists...?...hope so.
