  1. I like it Mark...not all nice builds have to shine. I have had some that were only fit for this kind of build before too...nice job.
  2. Very nice Bob..! I have the old (Universal Jeep) model...got to find the doors and glass mine will be close to yours. Nice work on the decals..love them.
  3. COOL...! I love these big old Pontiac cars anyway.
  4. Man have you got that one right...if there of 60s/70s cars I am in.
  5. Welcome Mike..! I dig Mad Max stuff...nice work.
  6. Very cool Scott....sorry it happened to you real bummer. I always liked this one too.
  7. Sorry for your loss...very sad news.
  8. Exactly Steve...cars of the 60s/70s had more looks to them and were different from each other. To me even the 4 door and wagons were cool then...today everything pretty much looks the same and is boring. One just has to find something the kids are interested in in scale...still working on that one here with my nephew...tried space, aircraft, some cars so far hes 11.
  9. Alan...Yep there cool and i like restoring promos and the Craftsman kits they were very cool in my opinion never bothered me if they had a opening hood or engine. My promo is molded in kind of a silver/gold color...glass,front posts, bumpers are broken and missing parts of them...too cool not to want to restore.
  10. Oh very nice work Rick...they both look sweet..!
  11. Awesome gents. My nephew has his head stuck in the electronic games badly...been trying to get him into other stuff but haven't been able to just yet.
  12. Alan...No shes a HT SS. I could send you a photo of her to a e-mail or phone if wanted.
  13. I like it Andre...looks good to me...I have a ton of stuff to learn about weathering.
  14. Alan...that is cool. I have a promo of the car i need to restore.
  15. Welcome Ron..!
  16. Here is a thought...how about getting some of the old promo molds back out and running them for kits of 4 doors and wagons...?...might be more cost effective for the companies to do..?
  17. That is cool Rick...plus it makes good use for the left overs from the T-bird kit.
  18. Those would be cool...specially the wagon.
  19. Id be ecstatic if they would bring these back out.... 71 Ford (LTD) 4 door HT....Hey the 70 Galaxie 4 door sedan sold well so why not..? Id get multiples of the LTD one. 61 Olds 4 door 88 Id love to see the companies bring out some more family oriented vehicle kits...one can only build so many muscle cars before they get a bit old in my opinion...just my 2 cents about it.
  20. Xs 2. Me...I have been wanting to build some camping trailers and motorhomes.
  21. I have been tempted to make a build of a crashed rig for awhile now...I guess I had better start collecting parts for one...?
  22. COOL build..! I have always loved the older trucks and specially the HD and off road ones....nothing screams mean like an old school truck.
  23. I think its great to see young people getting into the hobby...and that they make stuff suited for any skill level. Many snap kits are good kits...I still build them. Keep his interest going...he will have someone to learn from so in no time he will be on others and feeling good about himself which is a great thing. Far too many(like my nephew) have their heads stuck into video games all day long.
  24. Now that is a survivor kit from the past...even the box looks close to mint. Its nice to see the old ones that are out there somewhere hiding.
  25. Terry.... That is awesome....love it..! That thing is a beast.
