I have been tempted to make a build of a crashed rig for awhile now...I guess I had better start collecting parts for one...?

COOL build..! I have always loved the older trucks and specially the HD and off road ones....nothing screams mean like an old school truck.

I think its great to see young people getting into the hobby...and that they make stuff suited for any skill level. Many snap kits are good kits...I still build them. Keep his interest going...he will have someone to learn from so in no time he will be on others and feeling good about himself which is a great thing. Far too many(like my nephew) have their heads stuck into video games all day long.

Now that is a survivor kit from the past...even the box looks close to mint. Its nice to see the old ones that are out there somewhere hiding.

Man do I remember building those as a kid..loved them too...mine showed the woodgrain sided wagon on the box. Now those are some memories...great days of MPC kits.

Very nice work Ben...I have the same old kit but mine needs a lot of parts that got lost over the years. I loved the old Ertl Blueprint series kits still do...farm tractors,awesome big truck kits,and International trucks.

I have the Cadillac Coupe and Ambassador sadly both need parts and restoration. That crazy Street Cleaner is AWESOME..!

I agree... Here we all are our own support group to help each other with advise,tips,finding things and sharing things. We all share the same passion for plastic even though there are many different building styles or likes here...one can even learn from those outside our own building likes. There are many very nice people here always willing to help out another builder in one way or another. I have had (so called friends) that act that way before...to me there not really your friends if they can only think of themselves. I have many friends here and they think of others often..makes them better people in my opinion. Today's world has made some selfish and greedy...there the ones that loose out. Me I couldn't care less if someone has a bank account that looks like a phone number or is penny-less...I treat them all the same and with respect...in the end since we all share the same love for plastic were all brothers.

That Fury would have been nice to have. I also remember AMT flyer showing a Drag line crane...love to have been able to buy one but they never got put out.

The one we owned was a 429ci, 4 speed car. Id love to restore the old model I have into it. Just have to find the parts to...same they cant re-issue these kits in factory stock. If anyone has anything for them please PM me if Ramma is not interested first in them.

Nice build Bill...always lied the Munsters cars. I do the same thing at times...simple builds even snaps can get one out of a slump and get good results from them.

Some of these have been explored but not enough for me yet... camping trailer kits International pickups and Travelall kits late 60s to mid 70s station wagon kits maybe other diorama building kits....the MRC gas station kits sold well. Maybe kits of 1/25th scale shop equipment,etc...?

I have pretty much the same problem Rama....I have one my dad had that needs a lot of parts and work. My dad owned a real one once very cool car.
