On mine I just make a RTV rubber mold of the original ones on the body and cast my own new ones to use...I have even used Elmers glue in place of the resin or plastic to make them with..worked for mine.

Rick...that is cool. What scale is it and is it plastic..? An old neighbor of mine once had one of those Dodge ambulances he drove around in everyday.

Bill.... we were in the same boat for learning to drive them. I had to teach myself to as well when my job required it at a car dealership in the mid 80s.

Bill... I understand that one completely seen it many times myself. Me..I miss working I had jobs I loved. bad thing is there is always someone out there that is only looking for a hand out while there are many that really truly do need the help....there is always others much less fortunate than another out there just trying to get by.

Robert.... You can scribe your 4 door body lines to convert one into a 4 door it just takes lots of patience. I will use many layers of pinstripe to use as a guide as well...the trick is to lightly scratch your new door opening lines where you need them...over time they will get easier and more pronounced(keep in mind the 2 door doors are longer than the front doors on a 4 door car). after making your 4 door opening lines you just fill in the old 2 door ones and smooth it all out. I have done it many times...like on my 69 Plymouth 4 door wagon build i did. You can do it...it just takes time.

John... Me I love promos of the 60s/70s era...I restore them if at all possible. If there too far gone they become models that way they have another chance. Some one finds are just too badly damaged to be restored as a promo..some are not. id say if it is nothing rare or too expensive Id do what ever I wanted to with it in your case. I have several old promos I want to restore and finding the needed parts to is a real challenge even though many kit parts would work on them. Ether way enjoy the Monza.
